4 Bedroom Cabin in Glenford, Shokan

The cabin is cozy and rustic looking but with modern comforts. Featuring a large stone fireplace and expansive deck, great for reading, relaxing watching birds and animals, grilling or cocktails at sunset.
We feature accommodations that are comfortable for a romantic weekend for 2 or up to 14 guests (8 adults and up to 6 children) in three bedrooms and loft. During the spring/summer, we have room for 5 guests with full bathroom and bedroom above the log garage. The cabin bedrooms have AC. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ceiling fan and full bath. There is a sleeping porch off the master bedroom with a queen bed. On the first floor, one bedroom has a queen bed and bunk bed, the other bedroom contains two bunk beds and a trundle sleeping up to five. The loft has a twin bed. Legally we can only rent to 8 adults and 6 children.
Our log cabin mountain retreat is a 2000 square foot vacation home. It is located on private and secluded Tonche Mountain within minutes of fine dining and shops in the historic town of Woodstock. You will need to travel several miles of private road (great for walking and spectacular views) before reaching the cabin. The cabin is situated on 25 acres of secluded woods surrounded by hundreds of acres of private land and conservancy land. At 1200 ft. elevation you will have breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains, valleys and sunsets. Wildlife is abundant and the mountain air is rejuvenating.
The cabin is built exclusively of pine wood with hardwood oak floors and custom tile on the first floor with carpeting in the master bedroom and loft. The loft is a great place to read a book, play a game or take in the view through our telescope. Watch a movie or sports in HD in our new TV/Movie room with theater seating and 3 couches. Play ping pong, foosball or darts in our unfinished basement. Enjoy a horseshoe match, a game of volleyball, a round of badminton or the glow of a fire under a starry sky sitting around the fire pit. Impressive hand placed fieldstone rock walls complement the landscape
Our home is child friendly and we have a crib, child gate, high chair and stroller. No pets. No smoking in the house.

Summary: We have been to many VRBOs in the Catskills over the years with large groups of friends, all have been great, but none that we would book again, but this cabin has been unanimously agreed to be the absolute best in every way which everyone would book again in a heartbeat. The views are absolutely incredible, pictures don't do them justice, the surrounding mountain area around the cabin is really nice and secluded and has some great little trails for hike with more with amazing views. There are more than enough real bed sleeping options for big groups, and the volleyball court, horseshoe pit and movie theatre were also a big hit. If you are searching for a big group cabin in the Catskills, book this right now, you will not regret it.

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The cabin was amazing and the property and view was breathtaking. We spent nights around the fireplace and days walking around Woodstock and shopping. It’s such a little town and it was lots of fun. It was definitely an experience that will last us a lifetime.

Summary: Wow! My fiancé and I booked this rental for our family and a few friends to spend a weekend together. We absolutely loved everything about the cabin. The views were incredible and more beautiful than the photos. The cabin is very modern and updated which was great, and we enjoyed using the kitchen, movie room, and game room during our stay. Just a note that the mountain roads are very steep so it's best to access the cabin via a larger car with 4 wheel drive. But we had no issues once we got the cabin and knew the way! We also pinned the location on our Apple Maps which was helpful. Appreciate the communication with the host and the cleanliness of the cabin. Would love to stay here again in the near future, it is a real treasure!
