Completed in 2008, Coccoloba really is a sight to behold. A West Indian hip-shaped roof sits above plantation style teak verandahs covering an area of 3420 square feet. In addition there is an enormous pool allowing 54’ laps and providing a stunning 21’ infinity edge. Adjoining the pool is a further 1000 square feet of soft Jerusalem limestone deck. The whole property oozes simple clean lines and open spacious living areas.
Walk through Coccoloba’s front door and the first thing you notice is a breathtaking view of St. Kitts. Thirty two feet of bi-fold glass doors open up from the great room to give unobstructed views across the infinity edge pool, over ‘The Narrows’ and on to St. Kitts. You can even see St. Barts on a clear day! The kitchen and great room are open plan with honed limestone flooring, cypress vaulted ceiling, comfortable soft furnishings and every appliance needed for a modern kitchen. In the Great Room there is also high speed FIBRE internet from both of the island's providers, cable TV on a 55" Samsung 4k TV. Music is provided from a Bang and Olufsen Beosound 2 system which you can Bluetooth to your own library.
Wake up in the king sized teak four poster in the master bedroom, open the automated curtains from your bedside and gaze over your feet through the 8’ glass doors at the Atlantic Sea. Turn your head to the left and look through another 10’ glass opening at the Caribbean Sea and the rising sun lighting up St Kitts. Large master bathroom with tub and both in and outside showers. The guest bedroom can be furnished with either a king size bed or two individual beds. Bi-fold doors from this bedroom lead directly onto the pool. Another large bathroom with in and outside showers.
The villa is surrounded on all four sides with beautiful Trinidadian teak decked verandahs. The west verandah is 14’ deep by 72’ long with dining table, sofa, chairs and chaise longue. Watching the sunset from this elevation of 270’ is amazing, especially when you are treated with the famous ‘green flash’. You will also find that the elevation deters the mosquitoes that are usually found at sea level.
The villa appears to hang on the edge of a hill overlooking Oualie Bay. It is set in 33,000 sq ft of landscaped garden at the end of a private road. Sitting back from the main island road and benefitting from the omission of adjoining neighbors, Coccoloba enjoys peacefulness and serenity. Turn off the verandah lights at night and watch the fireflies dance through the Coccoloba (Latin for ‘Seagrape’).
Coccoloba is perfectly located for enjoying the best of Nevis and the pretty Toulie beach is just 400 yards away. Lover’s Beach, Tamarind Bay, Cades Bay and Pinney’s Beach are all within two miles. A great choice of restaurants including Gallipot, Mount Nevis, Luna, Oualie Beach Hotel, Coconut Grove and Yachtsman’s Grill are also on the doorstep. Oualie Bay provides water sports including scuba diving, yacht charter, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and wind surfing. Take a water taxi over to St Kitts and enjoy a meal at the Park Hyatt or Spice Mill. All that Oualie Bay offers within a 10 minute walk.

Summary: My husband and I stayed the fabulous Coccoloba for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a treat! The infinity pool and its mesmerizing view drew us in daily. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and fully stocked for cooking, reading, music, and television (though gazing at the view of the Narrows between St.Kitts and Nevis is better than any tv show). It is an easy walk down to Oualie Beach. We loved the kitty T.C. and enjoyed her daily visits. The beds were plush and comfy, and the outdoor showers were a lovely touch. Summary: We spent a week here. Having traveled extensively for over 40 years, we can say this is one the most beautiful houses we have stayed at. Elegant, graceful, spacious, with one of the best caribbean views (and pool), you will not be disappointed. The owners were very helpful both before we arrived and while we were there helping with travel details.

Summary: My husband and I so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was a birthday present to me and it will definitely rank up there as one of my all time favorites. The home was clean, well appointed and wonderfully secluded and relaxing. We enjoyed watching the crazy monkeys swing from the trees and taking care of the sweet tabby cat, TC. The sunsets were magical and the cool, sea breeze delightful. We hope to be able to return very soon.

Summary: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay while on Nevis. If you are looking for both flexible and an accommodating host; this is the place for you. Peter and Louise were by far the best owners ever and really provided our family with not only a breathtaking place to stay, but also to provide us with great knowledge in what to expect, as this was our first time traveling to both St. Kitts and Nevis. While enjoying the beauty of the island and all that there was to offer; we exceptionally enjoyed the quality time spent at their home. Our family are pet-lovers, so it was an extra bonus to have their community cat, TC, come and hang out with us at their home. I highly recommend their home for anyone seeking to have an adventure and be pampered! Thanks again for all the hospitality! Looking forward to next time!!

Summary: My wife and I had a perfect vacation at this property. What separates this property from the rest are the owners. Peter and Louise are wonderful - they are accommodating in every regard. They are meticulous in all of the details and genuinely care about their guests satisfaction. Guests are encouraged to sign a guest book before leaving which illustrates how much Peter and Louise care. We will be back!

Summary: This home is nothing less than SPECTACULAR! Although I'm hesitant to write a review, as my selfishness wants to keep it a secret all to myself, I'd give it 10 stars if I could! The home is fully stocked from kitchen appliances to pool towels & floats, extremely clean and very well maintained, Bluetooth speaker and Smart TV, comfortable bedding & bedroom ACs, and most importantly, it has the most AMAZING views on the entire island! Louise & Peter are so sweet and extremely helpful! Peter even welcomed us as we exited the water taxi! They had everything planned from the airport taxi to the water taxi, and even a rental car if needed. (Warning: off roads are treacherous, so consider an SUV if renting a vehicle for your stay) The road to the house can be a little bumpy & worrisome at first, but once you step foot in the house, the view in front of you will surely confirm it is worth the ride! You will NOT want to leave, once you arrive! And to be honest, there really is no reason to leave. And if it's meals your worried about, Peter & Louise have that covered as well! Our personal Chef Mark Roberts was absolutely amazing!! (Instagram: Nevis Chefs) You must reserve him for at least one of your dinners while there! It was definitely some of the best meals I've ever had! You will not be disappointed! If your adventurous and want to travel out for dinner a night or two, Montpelier Inn and Golden Rock Inn are spectacular! And of course, don't miss sipping on the "Killer Bee" drinks at Sunshine's right down the road. But be careful, it can sting you after just one glass! Don't hesitate to book this house! We were reserved at the Four Seasons, and we're so happy we chose Coccoloba instead! It's private, it's beautiful, it's romantic, and you will have the most incredible vacation in this little slice of PARADISE! Can't wait to return in 2 years!
