Escape to Woodland Paradise, a serene getaway nestled on 13 acres of wooded beauty in Union Pier. This stunning property features a main house, guest house, heated pool, kids’ playground, and scenic river access, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
Step inside the main house, where vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan create an airy, welcoming space. The living room boasts a cozy fireplace and a comfortable seating area with a TV. The dining room seats eight, with a breakfast nook overlooking the backyard and pool, plus additional seating at the island. The chef’s kitchen is designed for gathering, allowing multiple guests to cook and prepare meals together. The primary suite on the main floor features a king-size bed, a luxurious ensuite with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, and plenty of space to unwind. A half bathroom is conveniently located off the kitchen.
Upstairs, two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub/shower combo. One bedroom features a bunk bed with a full bottom and twin top, while the second offers a queen bed. The finished basement provides additional entertainment, including a pool table, dartboard, basketball game, toys, a cozy seating area, and a laundry room with a full washer and dryer.
The guest house offers an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with brand-new cabinets and countertops. It features two bedrooms and a full bath with a walk-in shower—one bedroom with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds.
Between the main and guest house, the beautiful heated pool is surrounded by plenty of lounge seating and an outdoor dining area, perfect for al fresco meals. The playground offers a fun space for kids, while the expansive yard and wooded trails invite exploration. The property also includes an electric car charger and generator for added convenience.
Located just minutes from downtown Union Pier, Three Oaks, and New Buffalo, guests have easy access to boutique shops, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and art galleries. Town Line Beach is just two miles away, while Warren Dunes State Park offers hiking, towering sand dunes, and beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. Only 90 minutes from Chicago, Woodland Paradise is the perfect quiet, secluded escape for families and groups.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was even more beautiful in person, the pictures didn’t do it justice. We spent a week with family making wonderful memories. The main house and guest house were amazon. Would not hesitate to stay here again . Everyone was sad to leave the pool and the outdoor space. The house had everything you could need and was immaculate . The property managers were very responsive and clearly care about the properties they manage . Location was excellent as well. You cannot go wrong staying here .

It's in a great location - easy to get to the beach, restaurants, shopping, but still feels away from it all. There are comfortable beds with nice sheets for everyone and excellent bathrooms with hot water and good water pressure. The main house serves a large group well with big dining table, large breakfast table, and comfortable living room. Downstairs is the laundry and various fun activities, including a dart board and pool table. The Pool House has a different feel but it's a pool house and decorated accordingly- and has dining table that seats eight. Both the main house and pool house have well equipped kitchens that allow for cooking and baking for large crowds. The only thing to improve the kitchens would be to move from gas to induction cooktops. We enjoyed the pool, BBQ, soccer field, playground, fire pit, and all the other outdoor amenities. We hope to return next summer.

Pool house was great for little ones to take a nap without being disturbed. The little ones also loved the playground. Tanya and Henry were great to work with! Highly recommend them.

Summary: What a great” compound” for a family. Plenty of places to sleep and things to do! Safe environment for all ages. The guest house is wonderful. It has just everything you need. The pool was plenty warm, and there were games and rafts for everyone. Close to town and a short drive to the beach. We will be back.

Summary: We had a great family vacation at this wonderful property. We hosts welcomed us with a sign, a bottle of champagne, ingredients for s’mores and a giant container of snacks which we enjoyed. The house and guest house are clean, well appointed, and fully equipped. The playground, soccer field and swimming pool were enjoyed by all. We had great weather so we did not have much time to enjoy the pool table and other fun things in the game room. We hope to come back!
