Studio apartment. One large room with queen sized bed and full sized futon (linens included). Full, private bath. Kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Also included with the room: TV, DVD, stereo/CD player, WiFi. Beautiful shared court yard. Within a 5 to 10 minute walk are City Park, New Orleans Street Car, Bayou St. John, The Pilot House (18th century Creole colonial plantation home) and The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA). Also within a 5 to 10 minute walk is Swirl a wonderful wine store/bar, two wonderful restaurants [Cafe Degas and Lola's], three good restaurants [Nona Mia, Liuzza's and Santa Fe], two fun and very good coffee houses [Fair Grinds and CC's], several traditional bars including Pals and Liuzza's By The Track, as well as two family owned grocery stores and a laundromat.
A 5 minute walk from the studio apartment is the North Carrollton Avenue Streetcar line.
A spur line along North Carrollton Avenue connects Canal Street to City Park at Beauregard Circle, where riders can enjoy a 1500-acre urban Eden filled with centuries-old oak trees, an elegant botanical garden, a charming storybook village, and a host of family activities.
Back patio is a shared space. There are three tables with chairs, a deck with a variety of seating, an outside day bed, covered sitting area with ceiling fan and a charcoal grill. All at your disposal.

Summary: I could write a book with all of my positive feelings about this property and the hosts, but I’ll settle for an honest review. The studio itself is very comfortable, clean and fits all amenities you could want. The backyard feels so private and it really is quite pretty. The neighborhood has beautiful homes and feels extremely safe (I’m a smaller solo female traveler so this was very important for me.) Fred, Renee, and their son Alex were such a pleasure to chat and hang with! Their pup Jake is also quite the gentleman :) I will always choose to stay here for future trips to NOLA. Thank you for such an amazing stay & I’ll see you next time!

Summary: This was our first stay in NOLA, Fred and Renee were AMAZING hosts. Gave us all the good places to visit. Very friendly people. The house was great location. Close to a lot of things, but not too far you could walk to French quarters or Uber. Hands down one of the best experiences. When we return, we will be looking them up again! 11/10 recommend!!

Summary: This was my first time in New Orleans and my stay was perfect. Walking distance to the trolley, museum and some amazing restaurants. I highly recommend Esplanade Ridge!
