Come nestle amongst the leaves at Panthers Inn Treehouse. This secluded, well equipped, elevated cabin has the perfect combination of natural beauty and artful luxury. Isolated yet conveniently located 2 minutes from Blue Sky and Feather Hill wineries, within 5 minutes of Panthers Den hiking trail and the Shawnee Hills canopy tour and only 10 min from I-57 exit 40. Panthers Inn is the perfect starting and ending point to your Shawnee Hills Wine Country vacation!
The space
The property is on a road that usually isn’t traveled much and it borders the Shawnee National Forest. The driveway is gravel and on a hill. The outdoor area has plenty of room and privacy for a family or small get together with a nice level space to sit next to a fire pit. There is one outdoor toss game so far but plan to add more games outdoors. Inside there is a spiral staircase to the loft bedroom but there is also a couch available downstairs that turns into a single bed. The loft has 1 twin long and 1 queen size bed that are both very comfortable, extra pillows and bedding are available. There is extra bedding and board games in a drawer under the twin bed. There is 1 tv that can be seen almost anywhere in the treehouse however there is no cable, internet or WiFi do to the location it’s simply not available, cell service is limited however this is not why you are staying here at all. There is a small kitchen with most of the things you would need to cook meals and a good size refrigerator. There are cleaning supplies under the sink just in case they are needed. The bathroom is very nice and has ample room to get ready for anything from hunting to a wine trail tour.

Summary: The house was quaint and delightful, creatively arranged. We enjoyed the stay…our age would probably keep us from returning. Navigating the circular staircase required extra care…but fun and innovative for younger folks. We had just a bit of a challenge in getting to the right place - the address given didn’t match the property, but was quickly resolved.We would recommend the location - lots to do in the area.

Summary: We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary at the treehouse! Derick is an excellent host and you can tell he has put his heart into the property. We loved truly disconnecting and waking up in the woods. The treehouse was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our relaxing get away! We will definitely be back.

Summary: My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights on our birthday weekend and Derick’s Secluded Treehouse was perfection!! It has a kitchen that is stocked with all the cookware, flatware, and silverware you could ever ask for, no need to bring anything like that with you. The bathroom, lounge area, and loft bedroom are comfortable and extremely cozy. If you’re a small group looking for a place to stay, look no further. Book with Derick, you won’t be disappointed!!

Summary: Location for a weekend on the wine trail was perfect. Although the spiral staircase is a bit cumbersome, we would definitely consider this location again for hiking and a weekend getaway!

Summary: Went for our 25th Anniversary. 4 nights, 5 days. It's EXACTLY as it's listed and photographed, plus so much more! Host put everything together so thoughtfully, and beautifully, down to the smallest detail. It felt like host thought of every little thing a guest could potentially need or want, and BOOM! Wish granted! And don’t get me started on the amazing fresh roasted coffee that host provides for each morning!! So great, top notch!! Cannot wait to go back! Thank you Derrick ❤️

Summary: The cabin was perfect! It was so nice waking up and looking out right out into the trees. It is a very peaceful getaway. We sat around the fire and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
