Negative: The weather that weekend, but then you cant really blame that on the rental, Right?!

Positive: Location was good for hiking and just a short drive to Sedona. Beds were very comfortable, home was spacious and nicely decorated. They even had the table set with a table cloth and napkins, etc...went out of their way to have their home look special for when you arrived. Hot tub and backyard were very nice for relaxing!
Negative: Neighbor has a diesel truck and leaves early in the morning; around 6am. If you are a light sleeper, it may wake you up.

Positive: It was spacious, comfortable, washer and dryer. Had all we needed to do some cooking. Had lots of towels and washcloths. The home had a nice design. Nice deck, yard and hot tub. Neighbor hood was quite, we felt safe.
Negative: I’m not familiar with a “smart thermostat” took me a bit to figure it out (came in late one night and it was about 83* inside). Finally figured it out and the rest of the time was fine. Switch for kitchen light was hard to find, it was across the room tucked about 1/3 behind the fridge. (I have a thing for three way switches and lots of available light).

Negative: It was not actually in Sedona, it was about 7 miles outside of Sedona. Due to the one lane highway each way with traffic Sedona ended up being about 30-45 min away. One other thing that kind of bothered me and this is more so about the hosts than the property itself. After we left they reached out to me in Spanish, I never indicated that I spoke Spanish. I asked numerous times how they knew I spoke it. I never received an answer and it kind of freaked me out a little bit… They also indicated a few things that we did in regards to the hot tub, but there was not any directions or information about the hot tub. If there are certain expectations, they should be clearly listed as well as any and all instructions.
Summary: It was a nice secluded area, but the hosts could give a little more info

Positive: it was the perfect location close to hikes and not in the super busy area. It was a lovely home in a great neighborhood plus I was able to take my dog. It was amazing and the hot tub was a bonus ag]fter long hikes
