Summary: Other guests did a great job of accurately reviewing the property so I'll spare you the need to read the same thing. What I will say is that staying here required us to unplug from the world a bit as it was very remote and the connection to the outside world via the internet/cell service was very limited. So we did what we came there to do, wich was UNPLUG, EXPLORE and RELAX as a family. It is still very important for any future guests to know that saying this place is remote is no understatement as it sits atop a mountain and takes a bit of effort to get there with your vehicle (a major plus is having an SUV for higher ground clearance). But the views are amazing, house is cozy and owners welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our time there as did our 4 legged family member.

Summary: Hoy lunes, después de pasar el fin de semana en la Pegatera (23 al 25.02.2018) los 6 privilegiados que nos hemos alojado estamos con completa morriña. Un fin de semana de plena desconexión y contacto con la naturaleza que nos ha hecho sentirnos muy privilegiados. El entorno es impresionante y la casa, como decía mi hermana, de cuento. 100% sostenible pero con todo lo imprescindible, llena de detalles y de comodidades. Nos hemos sentido muy arropados. Gracias Jordi y Pepa por la cercanía, vuestro pequeño oasis es una delicia. ¡¡¡Repetiremos seguro!!!

Summary: Hay otras casas rurales geniales, pero ninguna como La Pegatera. Aislada en un paraje encantador, el hecho de ser 100% independiente de la mundanal civilización le confiere un encanto especial que te hace sentir relajado desde el primer momento. La casa está equipada con todo lo necesario para sentirse cómodo y decorada con mucho encanto. Su calefacción de leña garantiza una temperatura ideal cuando bajan las temperaturas, y su situación en las montañas frescor en las noches de verano. Sus propietarios son encantadores, y enseguida sientes su cercanía cuando te explican las particularidades de la casa o las precisas instrucciones para realizar excursiones en los alrededores. Podría empezar a dar muchos detalles, todos positivos, pero sencillamente recomendaría realizar una buena y completa compra de víveres, apagar el teléfono móvil y demás aparatos electrónicos, y disfrutar de la familia o amigos con una paz y tranquilidad sin igual. Personalmente he tenido la suerte de vivir la experiencia en dos ocasiones. Y sin duda, será un placer volver.

Summary: This is a beautiful home and fantastically private location. If you are looking for privacy, quiet and a transformative experience, this is the place for you. We have truly never stayed in a more beautiful or special place in all of our travels. Too many wonderful amenities (fireplaces, hammocks, hiking trails, etc.) to list them all. Pepona and Jordi were helpful and kind and they have lovingly restored this home to its full (and ecologically responsible!) glory. Please do request the whole property when you book if you want total privacy during your stay. Thank you Pepona and Jordi, we do hope to visit again some day!

Summary: La Pegatera was the perfect way to finish off our two-week stay in Spain: rustic, relaxing and magical. Roomy and comfortable for our family of four, we enjoyed three days of reclining in hammocks, paddling in the spring-fed pool, eating meals in the stone poolside cabana, and walking the numerous trails surrounding the property. My son & I also spent a day fly fishing on the River Segre about an hour away (large finicky trout in a pastoral setting). We loved sitting out at night and watching the sun set over the expansive mountains, watching the sky come alive with stars, not another sign of civilization anywhere in sight. Wild boar called out to each other in the forest and small bats nabbed insects overhead. If you go: do your grocery shopping in Coll de Nargo or another town before you set off on the winding mountain road toward the property (it's a half hour from civilization). Bring drinking water as well (the water in the cabin comes from rain-fed springs, and has not been certified potable). My family's taste runs toward the rustic and natural, so La Pegatera was pure heaven to us. If you are a Waldorf or Four Seasons type of traveler, please be aware, this is authentic country living. The owners, Pepona and Jordi, were highly responsive and helpful leading up to our trip. Jordi met us at the property, made sure we understood how everything worked (the home is solar-powered and entirely off the grid), graciously enduring my rusty French. We can't wait to return.

Summary: A delightful property in the wilds of the Pyrenees with the nearest neighbours out of sight over a hill. Hot in the day, cool at night because of the altitude, and very comfortable. It is an eco house but is very comfortable. There is much to explore on foot, but you are a bit away from civilization so day trips take a little longer. The road to the house is rough. We got away with a CMax which grounded a couple of times but a 4X4 would be more comfortable. Geordi and Pepona are delightful and helpful hosts and the welcome is warm! I thoroughly recommend it.

Summary: Cuando fantaseas con vivir en la montaña en tu imaginación aparece una casa de piedra como "La Pegatera". Aislada en medio de la montaña, en un paraje realmente hermoso y con abundancia de fauna y setas a finales de verano y otoño. Durante nuestra estancia, al anochecer, nos venía a visitar un zorro en busca de algo de comida, no fallo ni una noche! ...vimos conejos, otros zorros, un tejón y huellas de cabirol, en castellano corzo. Se respira autenticidad en todas sus estancias...piedra, madera, mobiliario rústico, chimeneas en los salones, estufas de leña en las habitaciones, el agua que brota de los grifos es de manantial y una decoración muy auténtica. Todo el mobiliario restaurado solo en su justa medida, con mucho gusto. La atención que prestan los propietarios, Pepona y Jordi, cercana y natural, muy atentos en todo momento. Gracias por todo !! Realmente recomendable para los que que les gustaría ser protagonistas de un cuento. Anna, Kiko y Aina

Summary: 100% recomendable! Fuimos un grupo de amigos a pasar un puente y quedamos sorprendidos con la casa y el entorno. Acogedora, preciosa, bien equipada y con muchas posibilidades en su entorno. Ideal tanto para grupos de amigos como para familias.

Summary: No hay palabras que puedan describir la armonía y equilibrio que transmite LA PEGATERA y su entorno. Vuelves a descubrir de la naturaleza, el canto de los pájaros y la belleza de un cielo estrellado. Hemos pasado esta Semana Santa. Íbamos 3 generaciones desde los 8 a los 81 años. Todos y cada uno hemos disfrutado de las vacaciones . La casa está equipada con todo lo que se pueda precisar y muy limpia. Te sientes como " en casa ". A ello contribuye sin lugar a dudas el trato de los dueños Jordi y Pepona, excepcionales!!. No dejéis de probar el arroz que hace Pepona. Colosal!!
