The Quinta do Gigante is ideal for those who have children. Quinta do Gigante has 10 000m2 and capacity to accommodate 5 people in the house and a few more in special case that can be in a tent outside, it is certainly the ideal place for lovers sport and nature. The house has a dining room and a living room with TV, DVD and music system, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, one suite, one bathroom inside and another outside.
The 10 000m2 of Quinta do Gigante are "divided" into two parts: the Forest and the Orchard.
At Pomar you can find more than 200 fruit trees at your disposal.
Outside the house visitors can enjoy a barbecue, where they can prepare "old fashioned" meals in the wood oven! Around the pool there is a beautiful garden and a poly-sports field, where you can play tennis, basketball, soccer, etc. The Quinta do Gigante also offers an 8-hole mini-golf course, some gym equipment (8), archery, a Snow White house and several ropes on the trees.

Summary: Zeze's beautiful Quinta do Gigante is the perfect place, if you're looking for peaceful nature and a spot to relax. There a several spots where you can enjoy nature and silence, but also lot of possibilities to do sports or take a swim in the big and nice pool. The house itself was very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal and unless the hot temperatures outside, the inside of the house was quite cool. Would highly recommend this house and also Zeze as a host.

Summary: We spent the last week in July 2013 in Quinta together with our 3 children - it is a very naturally beautiful place that feels that great love and craftsmanship have gone into every aspect of the house and grounds. The house is quite cosy and full of charm and character. Very nice bathrooms and good beds - very clean and comfortable. Pool was the second home and a very welcome escape when weather hot. The kids made great use of the ample grounds and especially the crazy golf and table tennis. The views and sense of tranquility are very special. The surrounding area was also a real pleasure with the local restaurant offering fantastic roast venison and veal. Local hikes are a little more difficult than we expected but very worthwhile. Porto was a great day trip as was Aveiro, we would definitely recommend to any family looking to escape to a rural idyll and who just want to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures in a beautiful setting.
