This fully self-contained, open-plan, stand-alone executive Studio suite guest house is stylishly decorated with quality comforts in leafy surroundings within the established residential suburb of Smithfield Heights. About 15 - 20 minutes easy drive (15 kilometers) north of Cairns City, Domestic, International, and general aviation Airports, Reef Casino & The Great Barrier Reef departure port.
Own transport is recommended, but not essential. Free parking at the Studio door entrance. Easy travel drives to Beaches, Port Douglas, Daintree, Kuranda, Atherton, and Mareeba Highlands. Walk to the University and Smithfield Shopping Centre.

Access to the sparkling saltwater plunge pool & deck with an additional alfresco dining area at the top of the main house front entrance stairs. Enjoy the panoramic landscape views with an eastern-facing aspect, mountain range, and glimpses of coastline & ocean.

Summary: Cheryl is a great host with good local knowledge and recommendations. The property has all the best amenities you could need. The pool was my highlight. We hope to return in the future as 2 nights was not long enough.

Summary: This beautifully appointed studio apartment was perfect for our time in Cairns. We rented a car and were able to easily travel to our Barrier Reef excursion and the Kuranda wildlife parks. We spent time at the nearby shopping center and could have easily walked there. We also had an easy drive to Trinity Beach. The appliances in the studio were a bit challenging, but the owner has detailed manuals available which helped us figure everything out. We enjoyed the variety of coffee, tea, fruit, etc that was provided for us. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again if we ever return to Cairns.

Summary: The studio is just North of Cairns in Smithfield and is very well appointed with all possible appliances. You need a car to access all the things we wanted to do while we were there. The owner is on the property and is helpful. She supplied lots of things while we were there. Very hand to the shopping centre and Airport is just down the road. Kuranda is a 15 min drive away and is a lovely place to visit. A great place to stay for the three weeks we were in Cairns.
