This holiday home has generous decks on three sides accessed by sliding doors, ideal for indoor/outdoor living. Situated on 3 acres of native trees and shrubs, this creates an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city living.
Our holiday home stay has five bedrooms, three with queen beds, one with a king single and a single bed and one with three single beds. All have quilts and pillows, but we do require that guests bring their own sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Extra pillows and blankets are stored in the bedroom cupboards. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area. One bathroom has a shower over the bath, vanity unit, hand basin and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet. There is a separate laundry with a washing machine and trough, with direct access to an undercover clothes line and outside fish cleaning sink. The large outdoor setting and gas barbecue on one of the multiple decks provides the perfect spots for relaxing and enjoying an evening meal. The mozzie zapper guarantees your comfort and serenity. The wood heater can be used to warm the shack.
The three acre property is fully fenced (ring lock), providing your dog with ample space to run and play. A fenced enclosure on the deck enables you to go out and leave you dog in a safe and restricted area with kennel and dog beds. We would prefer dogs to be kept outside particularly if wet and sandy.
Before guests leave, we do ask that you leave the shack in a neat and tidy condition.
With Nine Mile Beach being only a five minute walk and a further 25 minutes to Swansea you can spend a pleasant afternoon exploring this peaceful seaside town. Swansea also offers a golf course, exercise park and playground. Kate's Berry farm, wineries, Metus and The Lost Falls, Lake Leake (trout fishing) , Bicheno Wildlife Park, Freycinet National Park (Wineglass Bay) and Coles Bay are all within fifteen to forty five minutes drive.

Summary: Seriously the best, we stayed 3 nights with our little dog. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away from it all and only a short enjoyable walk to the beach.The house has everything you could ask for, we were blow away by how well equipped the property was. Has everything you need. The house was clean, neat and tidy on arrival. The dog inclosure on the deck was perfect for our little Ollie to be safe and secure. The only thing I would suggest is possibly some fly screens on the windows as some don’t have them, to get a cool sea breeze to cool the house. There are fans in the rooms to help with air circulation. But I would recommend anyone to stay here, such a great location, close to the town of Swansea, while still having that feeling of being secluded. We will definitely be going back, can’t rate it highly enough.

Summary: The beach house is easily accessible and really spacious. Great verandah that wraps almost all the way around giving shade and multiple reading/coffee choices. Large penned area for doggies and handy items to help reduce the need to pack doggy bowls, beds.We found it incredibly comfortable (only needed 1 bedroom out of the five available). Having the two bathrooms would have been handy if we’d had more people, but we’re considering booking again with larger family group in the future. Short, easy walk to the beach.

Summary: The property is decent But with no air conditioning or ceiling fans and only 3 portable fans it was hard when it got hot With missies and March flys having no fly screens on most of the windows also made it hard to air out the residence For a beach holiday it’s a great location and adding a few simple things the stay would have been more comfortable

Summary: 10 mins from Swansea, 5 mins to beach is this lovely holiday home. Big in size big in character. Everything was as listed and house was clean. Summary: We had a great time at Dolphin Sands, Dallas’s house is wonderful and looks even better than the photos. Plenty of space inside with several different options to sit down, and plenty of chairs. Would be even better if linen was provided - make sure you bring your own tea towels, bath hand towels etc. All in all a great new years with four other couples who all fit comfortably.
