Situated a mere 2 miles from the renowned REV Theater, less than 5 miles from the vibrant city of Auburn, and only 8 miles from the charming Village of Skaneateles, this two-story lakefront cottage promises an unparalleled escape for your dream vacation.
Enter the welcoming main floor, where the essence of home comes to life. The well-appointed, recently renovated kitchen invites culinary adventures and is joined by the spacious dining room and comfortable living area, forming a delightful space for shared experiences and entertaining. The main floor also includes a convenient full bathroom and and the added practicality of a washer and dryer. The oversized master suite is located on the main level (two steps up) and includes a brand new private deck, queen bed, large closet and storage, gorgeous lake views, and an ensuite with tub/shower, sink, and toilet. Conveniently located off the dining and living rooms, step outside to the expansive deck, designed for relaxation, and enjoy breathtaking lake views and seven mature oak trees. It's a perfect retreat for moments of tranquility, leisure, and lakeside dining!
Head to the second floor, which includes a bedroom and an adjacent space that sleeps up to four. Providing comfort and flexibility, there are two twin beds in one area and a queen bed in the other to accommodate the needs of your guests or family.

Summary: The location is amazing! Easy access to the lake. The house itself is great - clean, well stocked, privacy, very comfortable. We would definitely recommend to anyone and will probably go back.

Summary: On a positive note, the wall of living room windows gave a wonderful view of the lake. The home was clean and comfortable. The one issue we had was that the 2nd bathroom was also down stairs. Because we are in our 70's, we could not use the upstairs, so my sister slept on the couch all week. The back deck and stairs have no outdoor lighting, making it difficult to navigate the stairs after dark. If these issues are addressed in the future, this would probably receive a higher rating

Summary: Our stay at Seven Oaks was the highlight of our trip! The cottage sits perched over Lake Owasco. We sat and watched as a storm moved across the lake one night and we also sat and watched the sun set many nights. The home is more beautiful than photos can capture. It has everything you need, including a library if one should finish or forget their book! There are so many places to sit and enjoy the outside. The lake was beautiful. Don't forget your water shoes as it is rocky on the bottom and not for the soft soled!The owners were wonderful, always responsive and communicative. We love the local ice cream store, Tom Thumb. You indulge on deliciously large servings of ice cream while seated outside with a panoramic view of the lake. It is a simple 5 minute drive from the house. We would return in a heartbeat and were sad to say good-bye to this vacation retreat. Thank you for making a special place to escape to!

Summary: We were so happy with this property we reserved it for June. The owner could not have been more accommodating and responsive. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the furniture was so comfy we hated to leave the living room. The neighborhood is upscale and quiet-perfect for walking our dog often.
