Positive: Everything was perfect! This place is what I imagine paradise would look like. It so peaceful and green. The beds are super comfy, the level of cleanliness is great and your room is already clean when you come back from breakfast. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect and having it with the beautiful sea view made it even better. You are surrounded by amazing nature and I just want to do back again

Positive: Everything is amazing! This is truly a must place to stay if they have a room available. Food is amazing! We ate every evening at the resorts restaurant. Good pool, unlimited amount of drinking water and they know I room number from the beginning when I made the first order at the bar.

Negative: Thai massage was not that great.

Positive: This resort is out of this world. Truly stunning setting, everything is immaculate. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, two lovely cafes serving delicious drinks and desserts. What makes it even more special is the staff. They are so kind and exceeded our expectations every single time. Truly remarkable service. We travel a lot and have stayed in amazing resorts before, but Shantaa is by far the best.

Positive: Where to begin… This resort is just a delight from start to finish. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens in a quieter part of the island the resort consists of 20 luxury bungalow style villas, each spaced well apart from the next. Our villa had 2 double beds and a beautiful outside garden bathroom. Comfort levels are excellent with high quality linens and nice furnishings. Each villa has its own veranda and ours (#7) had an uninterrupted sea view, the perfect spot for watching the daily sunsets. The hotel has a very good restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner from an extensive menu of dishes featuring both local and western cuisine, everything we ate here was very good. There is a cafe, beach bar and beautiful pool area. The best thing about the resort (other than the lovely staff team) is the space to guest ratio - you never feel like you are overcrowded or struggle to get a sun bed etc. The hotel is located on the waterfront and has 2 small areas of beach that are private, these are nice and again are never busy but if you want a much bigger sandy beach then you need to walk just 200m to the other side of the pier where the beach is huge. There is not much immediately around the hotel but you can hire a scooter for 330thb a day from the hotel which allows you to get anywhere. It is such a beautiful island that i would recommend doing this anyway as it is s great way to get out on very safe roads (hardly any traffic) and explore the fantastic surroundings. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone who likes quality and nice places, I am sure we will come back.
