Summary: Loved our stay and hikes in the local mountains. Highlight was roasting sausages and marshmallows for s'mores over a fire in the large fire ring along the river. Hosts were wonderful.

Summary: We are a group of Civil War reenactors that were in town for the Battle of Cedar Creek reenactment. The house and property are beautiful and clean. There was a small issue with the electricity that was resolved quickly. Some of the outside lights (dusk/dawn light above main stairs) didn’t come on. Overall, we highly recommend this house and property. The gorgeous location and beautiful house make for a great getaway.

Summary: This is a very nice house with a lot of space and privacy. It was peaceful drinking coffee on the back porch while watching the deer graze. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

Summary: Fine stay. We werent there a great deal as we had graduation festivities to attend. I would suggest adding patio umbrellas on the back deck.

Summary: was a sibling weekend for our youngest sisters 60th birthday and had perfect time. house is spacious and comfortable. property is awesome with great views. we spent a lot of time at the firepit enjoying great fall weather. deer were plentiful and on saturday when we came back up from the firepit 5 were within 10 yards from front door. great time and we will be back.
