Negative: No printed menus, you can only view them on your phone after scanning a bar code. Menu prices that are very expensive and change between scans of the bar code.

Positive: The receptionist and concierge were friendly and made you feel at home upon arrival. The front desk put me in a very comfortable king room with a balcony to look at the trees and mountains. The hotel has a wide variety of breakfasts, both Chinese and Western breakfasts: omelette, bacon, hot sausage, various breads and desserts, and Chinese local breakfasts: dried rice, rice noodles, cold noodles, fried noodles, fried rice, and coffee, yogurt, and a variety of beverages you can freely choose. The hotel can book a free bus to take you to the airport, high speed train station and some places in the city. At the hotel there is a swimming pool, colored peacocks and white peacocks to see.
Negative: There is no bus to pick you up from airport to hotel. But you can easily get a taxi from airport to hotel. Some of the corners in the hotel gardens need to be cleaned up.
Summary: You can enjoy comfortable and clean rooms and a wide variety of Chinese and Western breakfasts at the hotel.

Positive: Staff was excellent, they went above and beyond to make a stay pleasant, including asking about requirements to enter different touristic sites, arranging car to go there, and providing lots of good advice and care. I specially recommend the hotsprings at the hotel.
Summary: Best hotel service in my three years in China!

Positive: The room is clean, comfortable and the pool is great. Staff is nice. They let us do a check out at 4 pm, very nice. The balcony was great and there is no noise in the surroundings (we did not have room neighbors. Peaceful and quiet.
Negative: Restaurant for breakfast has no terrace. Such a shame to eat inside when there is an amazing weather. Room service and poolside menu is not very nice. There was no staff to serve at the pool, we had to order the drinks by phone, in chinese. It took sometime 45 minutes to get our drinks. It feels like there is no service whatsoever and apart from the clean, nice surroundings, you feel like u are left on your own. 2 other restaurants in the complex, without much life. It takes a good 30 min without traffic to the night market. Overall, it’s good for a couple days to relax far from the noise. This place deserves higher service standards.

Positive: The room was good and the lady who checked us in was brilliant as was the waiter at breakfast! Both spoke English really well which was very helpful.
Negative: The lunch from the main bar took forever and it was very poor. A soggy Caesar salad and chips. A mojito that was minty flat water and second attempt wasn’t much better. I’d go to eat out at the local markets if you are staying there. Also, people spitting at the side of the pool- disgusting!
