The location is tranquil and the suite is very comfortable and private. It is close to both ocean and harbour beaches. The therapeutic spa is always fresh and clean for guests to relax in.
The ocean beach access and beach front reserve walkway is just across the road, and it is only a short walk to Anzac Bay harbour beach, a popular lookout, and secluded Cave Bay and Shelly Beach. Bowentown is a great location for all water sports activities, swimming, kayaking, fishing, skiing, and when the swell is right, even surfing. It is only a short drive to restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Waihi beach is a gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula, and also the fascinating rivers, walkways, and cycle ways of the Karangahake Gorge.

Summary: Great spot with so much to do around the area. Access to the beach was just a short walk across the road . The unit is small but all you need for a beach break. Loved that I was able to bring my dog along with a safe fenced of yard. The spa pool was great escape as the weather was not ideal. The chocolate and juice was a lovely surprise, thank you. Bowentown is lovely and quiet but a short trip to Waihi Beach or Waihi Town.

Summary: Great little property. Owner said a week's stay in the studio might be a bit much but I wish we had of stayed that long. Quality furniture and fittings. In among expensive homes and properties. Spa pool big bonus. So handy to beach.

Summary: The studio apartment had everything we needed for the stay. We enjoyed using the spa pool, and liked that the yard was fully enclosed for our dog. It was great that dogs are allowed as there aren't many places that do allow dogs. It was only a short walk to the beach.

Summary: We had a great time at Shorebreak studio. Our host Graeme made us feel very welcome with little extras. Not only milk in the fridge, but fruit juice as well and chocolates on the table. Unit is small but had everything we needed. Spa pool was wonderful to relax in at any time of the day or night. Would thoroughly recommend this escape. Thank you Graeme.

Summary: Nice property in a great location just across the road from the beach. Although the unit is a little bit dated all the amenities were good. A little bit lacking in privacy due to people living above us. Having the use of a spa is an extra bonus if you like them. Overall enjoyable stay and would recommend to other friends/ people.

Summary: Location was great with the beach right across the road and a lovely spa to end the day off with. The personal touches by the host were a lovely surprise - box of chocolates, fruit, tea and coffee and milk, yoghurt and juice in the fridge. The bed was far too soft for us, but that is more a personal preference.
