Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay although there were a couple of things that we weren’t particularly keen on. The first thing was the village pub which can’t be helped by the owners of this stable. We were hoping that the pub will be dog friendly as it is walkable from the cottage but it wasn’t and it was shut most of the time. We did travel to Flamborough but that was in the car. There were many great pubs in Flamborough to visit with the dog. Secondly the beds were quite uncomfortable unfortunately and we felt like we were sinking in the middle of them. Apart from that the place was absolutely fantastic with great equipment and such a cosy setting. The owners were absolutely fantastic. They let us do our thing and be there for us if we needed them. We will definitely be back and we would deafly recommend it to friends and family. The cottage is within striking distance of most coastal areas such as Scarborough Whitby Bridlington Filey and Flamborough. Can I also say a special thank you to the owner for sending my dad’s records back to him as he left them in the cottage. Thank you very much. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: What a marvelous place to stay. Remote, peaceful, comfortable. Great hosts, even provided us with tea, coffee, cake and eggs. Lovely grounds, great for dog owners. The charms of the stay made up for the grey weather. Both bedrooms had an en-suite, one with a bath, and the other with a shower, which was ideal. Lovely picturesque village location. Near to both Bridlington and Filey which are lovely resorts with great beaches.

Summary: Excellent little cottage with plenty of parking, very helpful owners on site who also have a café and art business on site. Very close to Bempton cliffs RSPB, Sewerby Hall with gardens and zoo, Flamborough head and beaches. Near to Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough or just enjoy the ample garden space adjacent.

Summary: We enjoyed our week at Shyre Stable and our grandchildren didn't want to come home. The 'garden paddock' gave them a huge secure area to have adventures and coming from a 2nd floor flat as they do they were in heaven. The area is beautiful too and its closeness to the lovely town of Bridlington a bonus and we had a few meals in the local pub. Fully recommend it to anyone.
