Summary: This was a great hotel close to everything that we wanted to see and do. Comfortable beds, nice staff, great views.

Summary: The room was nice. Bed was comfy and room was spacious. We stayed in one of the honeymoon style rooms and enjoy the space. It is an old mountain lodge so you can see the wear and tear but still nice. The shower head was very low so any one tall would have to bend over quite a bit to shower. My husband is 6’4 and he could hit his head on the shower curtain rod. The breakfast was pastries and the only fresh food was fruit, waffles and boiled eggs. The coffee was good. We opted out of breakfast due to the lack of options. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

Summary: We are happy we found Silver Spruce Inn! The property was well-maintained and beautifully landscaped with flowers and the room was clean and comfortable. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would return.

Summary: The stay would have been cozy and charming except for the gnats. I understand there will be a few insects, even a handful. But it was on par with an infestation. Most likely due to our door not fitting properly in the seams, I'm assuming from how old the buildings are. They were attracted most to the lights where the sink and counter were, so we left the lights on to keep most of it away from us while sleeping. But did see a handful on our bed as well.
