DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS:
KITCHEN/LIVING/DINING AREA- This is one large 'open space' and the heart and center of the home. Unlike some older cottages where rooms are split up, here, while you cook in an open kitchen you can watch TV, talk, see, and hang out with the others in the living room. Those in the living room can be on the computer, watching TV or simply relaxing. There are multiple places to sit and eat. In the kitchen is a breakfast area with bench seating. Near the TV, there is a large stone coffee table for snacks and informal meals, and there is also a dining area that seats eight for those special family events. Oh, need a quick bite? Our two bar stools awaits at the kitchen counter!
BATHROOMS - There are two full bathrooms on the first floor. One is linked directly to the master bedroom, and the other in the hall of the house. Seniors will enjoy the easy access to both the bedroom and bathrooms. Both are equipped with good-sized showers, and the hall bath has a bathtub for those who love to bathe! Upstairs, there is a full bathroom that accommodates the upstairs guests.
BEDROOMS - There are four bedrooms, two downstairs, two upstairs, perfect for multiple families. All bedrooms have pillow-top beds for a relaxful sleep. The downstairs bedrooms include a room with two full bunk beds, great for kids and families with young children. There is room for an additional pack-and-play or air mattress.The other downstairs bedroom has a king bed with a ceiling fan. The upstairs bedrooms include a king and a queen bed. In the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed, you can fit another air-mattress if you'd like!
DECK - Upstairs there is a deck that overlooks West Avenue. Enjoy dinner and catch-up times throughout the day! The deck has a table that comfortably seats four, but the deck can hold up to eight.
ADDITIONAL OUTDOOR SEATING - There is a table with several chairs to sit around the grill while you are waiting to use the shower or waiting for the food to cook, or simply hanging out with family and friends.
OUTDOOR SHOWER- There is nothing like taking relaxing shower in 85 degree weather! Before going into a cool house, it is nice to get all cleaned up and head in to enjoy the comforts of home. With the adjustable shower head, kids love using the shower, sometimes for the very first time!
GRILL- A gas grill awaits those special barbeque treats that are a must for summertime fun.
OUTDOOR SHED - Enjoy the beach chairs, toys, and other surprises found in our shed.
LOCATION - The house is 7 blocks from the boardwalk. You can get to the boardwalk easily through the trolley, biking, running, or even walking! It is far enough from the noise and crowds, yet close enough to enjoy within minutes. You can see the beach from the alley of the street. Around 34 Street, or 4 blocks over, you have shopping, playgrounds, bike rentals, ice-cream treats, and restaurants to satisfy any shopping or food cravings. An extra bonus is a second playground just a stone's throw from the house!

Summary: There are just so many great things about this VRBO. Location, cleanliness, the amount of space, the smart use of space, and communication with owners are just a few. There are little things that make the stay top notch such as the beach cart, the access to beach toys if you need them, the outdoor shower with foot wash, and the porch with a nice shady umbrella. Now- if you want fancy schmancy this might not be what you are looking for. But if you want an awesome stay in a clean, comfy, fun house with everything you need than this is your place. It really is a perfect Jersey Shore beach home.

Summary: Lovely well stocked family friendly home! So beachy and charming! Plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 teens. Wonderful host, and easy check in, great communication. We all loved the porch as well! My only suggestion is bring your own pillows:)

Summary: We had a wonderful 2 week family vacation at this property. The house was clean and well appointed with games and plenty of beach toys to keep our 1 & 3 year old occupied. It was an easy walk to the beach thanks to the beach cart that’s provided with the house. We were also impressed with how well appointed the kitchen was! We’d absolutely stay here again, we all loved it!

Summary: My family and I have stayed here the last 2 summers. It's only 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from the large playground on 34th Street. There is also a smaller playground right next to house. The owner is super nice and responsive.

Summary: This is the perfect beach cottage. It’s comfortable, clean, and has plenty of space for a family to enjoy a beach vacation. I love that it isn’t one of the generic two story condos taking over the town. The owners provide lots of nice extras like a beach wagon. The location was perfect, although I’d encourage people to consider renting bikes if they want to zip to the downtown area and not have a long walk or worry about parking. We loved biking to pick up bagels and donuts each day and there is a bike shop just down the road. You are within walking distance of multiple ice cream shops which is a MUST at the beach! We have already booked for next year!!!

Summary: Two families had a great vacation. The two rooms with king beds were great for the two couples. There was plenty of room in one room to add a cot so no kids had to share a bed. A fully stocked kitchen, grill, large dining table and close proximity to grocery store made cooking and sharing meals together easy. Adults and our four teens alternated between enjoying the deck, and we had great beach days- especially with help of supplies (chairs, toys, boogie and skim boards, cart, etc.) provided in outdoor storage. Outdoor shower was good for when we returned. Rented bikes from nearby bike store made getting to boardwalk easy, and the kids also enjoyed basketball hoops at end of block. If we make it to the Jersey shore again from San Francisco, we’ll be sure to stay again.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was clean and comfortable. It was also great to have beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart and sand toys included with the rental. The owners were quick to respond with any concerns.

Summary: We stayed at Ken's home for a week trip with the family and had a great time. The home was great and had everything we needed for the trip including all the beach accessories for the daily trip to the beach. Great location. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! The house is cozy but had plenty of space for two families (4 adults, 3 small kids). The beach shed was an absolute godsend for us and meant we didn’t have to lug beach chairs and wagons from home. The house also has games and other amenities perfect for small kids. We enjoyed dinners at the spacious dining room table and drink on the deck when the kiddos went to bed. The walk to the beach is quick and easy and the house is located in right near a fantastic playground. It was a week to remember!

Summary: My family had the most amazing time staying in this house. Everything was extremely clean and ready to go and the hosts left us a present. The location is absolutely perfect as it's only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach (key for little children) and is in walking distance of several shops, a bakery, etc. There were tons of beach umbrellas, chairs, etc. in the shed with wagon to pull it and the outdoor shower and clothes line were an essential addition. The house was perfect with 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs), giving a great separation of space. We loved the kitchen with the dining nook and the big dining room table. The living room was super comfortable with big, overstuffed couches and the 3 bathrooms were great, so we could let the kids have their own. Everything was clean and perfect and they even left kayaks for us to use, even though we never got the chance. I love not being next to the boardwalk since it's quieter, but close enough to enjoy some evenings there. Perfect rental!
