Summary: The home was very clean and the bathrooms, deck, and kitchen have been recently updated. The outdoor patio area with fireplace was gorgeous! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the deck. The dock was very pretty! The stairs down the hill to the lake were plentiful, but the stairs were built in such a way as to always have a hand on the side if needed. We just called it fun exercise to go back and forth from the lake to the house. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Clean and cute cabin with everything we needed for a quiet relaxing long weekend at the lake. Outdoor spaces were beautiful. Inside was rustic and a little dark but was to be expected for a cabin in the woods during summer. Kitchen was well equipped. Lodgings were perfect for our small party (3 of us). Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Inside the House was great, was spotless upon arrival, has great decks, wonderful hot tub, but there is NO outside Propane grill, and the outside stone “fireplace charcoal grill” is useless, the patio itself is wonderful and the outside real fireplace worked fine and was very nice. The walk to the lake and docks is a challenge. Downhill and then up steep rocky stairs, but good exercise. Not for the faint of heart or anyone who requires a wheelchair or has troubles walking up stairs. Owners should provide a propane grill as most vacation home owners do in the area. That would really make this a great place to stay.

Summary: Can't beat the lake views. Good location. Dock area was great. Kitchen could use some additional lighting. The grill wasn't really a grill. Had a grate to hold charcoal, but nothing to cook your food on. Would've been nice if the tree debris was blown off the decks. Downstairs toilet and bathroom floor were not cleaned thoroughly. Rugs in the basement had tree debris all over them still. Overall, nice little place.

Summary: The house was clean. Nice view of the lake, nice fire pit and internal and external fireplaces. Better directions regarding location of circuit boxes would have been helpful. The hot tub kept cutting off with a message stating maintenance needs. The company responded quickly to get someone out but it continued to happen even after his visit which was frustrating.

Summary: The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Owner's/managment company was very responsive, and happy to help. Loads of great activities nearby but we mostly chose to relax in the hot tub or simply sit and enjoy the views of the lake and a warm fire.

Summary: Great property! Loved hot tub Few key points: Steep decline and incline to and from the lake, house is in residential area and neighbors next door have dogs that bark constantly and are close to house . Pack extra of everything, no spices, paper products, etc that are usually left behind. There is an additional charge if you want to check in early as well.

Summary: Overall it was an enjoyable experience at Ski Shore. The online description was accurate and my family and I enjoyed the outdoor areas immensely. That being said there were a few minor annoyances. One bed did not have sheets which we did not notice until nighttime. When I called the next morning the sheets were delivered by the end of business that day. One of the lamps in the master bedroom does not work. Also there is no pull chain on one of the living room fans, and when you turn on the light the fan is constantly on high. These items were not corrected during our stay after I reported them. There’s no cutting board or measuring cups or spoons in the kitchen. I liked the the company provides dish soap and dishwasher pods to get you started. Overall we had a great experience at Ski Shore.
