Positive: great room Camomlile tea for breakfast
Negative: Breakfast was very disappointing - the presentation was well organised and clean, but the food was very limited. Specifically - no porridge, boxed cereal, eggs of any sort, butter, very limited fruit selection, only hot food was waffles.

Positive: I loved the bed. Very soft mattress. Also of all the employees, Elizabeth seemed to be the most professional. I worked in the hotel industry for 13 years so she caught my attention.
Negative: Where do I start....I contacted the hotel the day before my scheduled arrival to confirm everything about my reservation. I confirmed the deposit amount & room rate for my 5 night stay. I also confirmed that I would be arriving after the night audit started. In this society we live in today, I estimated the time that I landed to make sure I would have time to unlock my credit card, for authorization right before night audit (I used to be a night auditor). We landed at the airport & I had an email showing that my card had declined at least an hour before the audit was done. I called and asked the auditor to authorize my card again, so I would not lose my room. She did and with no regards to me saying I'll be there in the next 20-25 minutes, she says "you only have til 7 a.m. to get here". So clearly she wasn't listening to me. We arrive at the hotel, low & behold other reviews described this employee to a "T". I knew who she was. She did not smile, did not greet me, did not even ask my name to pull up my reservation. She asks for my driver's license. Types in the computer. Changed my address on my reservation & when I was asked to verify my information I told her it's not the correct address. Her nasty response was "Well that's what's on your license". She never verified first if it was the correct address. My boyfriend even said "she really didn't want to correct the address". The least she could have done was prepare my keys once I said I was on my way. During my stay, I realized most employees were not properly taught customer service etiquette and just looked at you. Even in the elevator, an employee stood shoulder to shoulder with me with no smile -- no expression. This property will continue to decline due to poor employee friendliness. We never ate breakfast, we needed meat with our breakfast. We never even went to look at the breakfast. It was described in the reviews.

Positive: My wife booked you but I still didn't know you had a breakfast and the breakfast was very complete and good.
Negative: Room had a moldy smell when we entered and on our way out that same day we mentioned it to the receptionist and she immediately wrote down for the cleaning crew to do a complete cleaning the next day (we arrived late and only had to use the room for a sleepover). It may have been good for the next tenants, which is commendable, but we left the next morning early and. although I am sensitive to chemical smells, I was able to tolerate the smell for the night.
Summary: Except for a moldy smell which, although I am sensitive to it, it was almost a perfect place
