Positive: The apartment is in a great location, centrally located to many attractions. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in the neighborhood, even walking my dog at night. (The unit is dog-friendly, which is nice!) The apartment itself is pretty modern with new fixtures. It is a junior one-bedroom with a Juliette balcony. It has A/C, a washer and dryer in the unit, and a dishwasher. I work remotely and I never had issues with the WiFi. It seemed pretty strong, even on video calls. Most essentials were provided except salt & pepper. I appreciated that there was a water filter pitcher in the unit. There was also a toaster, coffee maker, and coffee provided. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were also provided. Although I never used it, there is a gym on the main floor, and a coffee machine in the lobby where you can purchase drip coffee. The unit has a TV but I never used it either. The residents were extremely quiet - I could never hear my neighbors, which was great because I "work from home".
Negative: Mostly the accuracy of the posting. The listing says it's pet friendly and additional charges might occur, but many standard booking.com listings say that. There weren't any additional details listed. I didn't receive check-in instructions or house rules/policies until four hours before my arrival. There was mention of a $500 fee if you don't notify them that you have a pet. This was the first time I saw anything about an additional fee or having to explicitly notify anyone. I would have assumed that the host would have reached out. I thought that since I wasn't charged a pet fee when I booked the reservation there wasn't an additional fee. Luckily I read the house rules and policies. Out of caution, I contacted the property to ensure they knew I was bringing my dog. That's when they told me there was a non-refundable pet fee of $150, which is more than most hotels charge. They emailed me an invoice for $150 and I paid it immediately. It seemed odd that I had to pay them directly rather than through booking.com. The listing also says free parking is available on-site, but they mean free street parking and a paid parking lot. The parking lot is in what would be considered the courtyard of the building. They charge $5/hour and it is not a covered parking lot. There is very limited street parking. It seems that hardly any residents park in the parking lot and opt for free street parking, so you might have to drive around for a bit until you find a spot. The main road has 2 hour parking from 9am-4pm, which is probably fine if you don't have your car parked all day during the day. Had either of these things been listed in the post, I probably would have booked a similar listing that didn't have a pet fee and provided free parking.

Positive: Very nice property and location. You can’t beat the price either.
Negative: Not deep cleaned in awhile. The fridge, cabinets, and drawers all had dirt and residue on them upon arrival. The area rugs haven’t been properly cleaned in some time as there was a ton of hair in all shades all over them. There were also a lot of things I had to purchase on my own; a dish drying rack, kitchen hand towels, a broom and dustpan, sponges, oven holders, cooking utensils. While there are a few kitchen accommodations, they’re all in poor condition. All pans have scratches all over them because the cooking utensils are metal. I bought a new frying pan for my stay.
