Summary: We were a group of 12 college friends celebrating their 60th birthdays! The house has plenty of space to spread out and lots of amenities. Enjoyed the Bear Creek Lake area as well as the town of Jim Thorpe. A wonderful get away in the fall.

Summary: This house is beautiful and very spacious, with 6 bedrooms and a number of bathrooms. Our group consisted of 6 older women, and we were delighted to find a place that could accomodate us so easily. The house is fairly new and nicely furnished and Ellen is a very responsive and accomodating host. Would definitely stay at this place again!

Summary: MountainWoods Chalet was awesome! The whole property was inviting. The main floor was open and airy with plenty of seating in the livingroom area for relaxing and around the dining table where 10 of us were not crowded during meals and game playing. It was nice to not have to worry about packing linens and towels or hand soaps, dish detergents, laundry soaps, paper towels, etc....The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery and glasses. The propane fire pit was awesome. Sitting on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds and watching the deer was relaxing. Ellen was quick to respond if we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: This house is huge -- plenty of room for a multi family reunion. Ellen, the host, was very responsive and kind -- checked in a few times to make sure all was good. House was well stocked with essentials and very clean (not immaculate). Nice big kitchen. Electric firepit. Kids loved the game room. Good wifi. Having TVs in every bedroom was a plus. Overall, a great experience. You can't go wrong selecting this property / property manager. Would recommend to a friend!

Summary: Ellen, the owner, did everything she could to make our stay pleasant, and she succeeded. It was great for the whole family and the house was roomy, airy, and a very pleasant place to be.

Summary: Perfect common area for our gang. It had my dream kitchen with plenty of room for cooks, plus those that tell you how😄 Bedrooms were nice size. We ran into a glitch with the AC, but our Host was quick to respond and remedy it. A pleasure to work with her. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

First and foremost, cleanliness is of utmost importance to me, and this property exceeded my expectations in that regard. The house was impeccably clean, and I could tell that great care had been taken to ensure every corner was spotless. It made for a comfortable and welcoming environment throughout my stay. Furthermore, the host's attention to detail in providing all the necessary amenities was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I noticed that everything I needed was readily available. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cooking utensils, appliances, and even basic pantry staples. Summary: We had a wonderful time celebrating my sisters birthday at Ellen’s house. The house is very clean, bright & offers a lot to do. It’s in a beautiful area and close to Jim Thorpe were there is plenty restaurants & fun shops. My family would totally recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in this area. Five plus stars.
