Positive: Lovely cottage in a fantastic area & a lovely view - decorated well & very clean & tidy - with a great bathroom with Burlington shower accessories - comes with toiletries & soft clean towels.

Negative: Unfortunately the TV didn’t work & I didn’t take any electronics with us in our short break.

Summary: Great stay with lots to do & great walks along the coastline - lovely shops & public houses serving great food.

Positive: Clean and tidy home! Really comfortable beds. In my opinion exceptional for English beds😂. Really well equipped with everything you need! Lovely interior.

Negative: We aren't party people. So the night time "parties" in the vicinity and on the streets and beach were really annoying. Also the street is very busy, at night times as well. Sometimes it felt like the motor cycles were driving through your bedrooms... Well, we saw that there's a street right in front of the house and also saw the fun park. But we underestimated these circumstances. So it's not a fault of the host! But you may consider it when you book it, whether you like it quite or you don't mind the noise.

Summary: Lovely home, with everything you need. Unfortunately, loud surrounding.

Positive: A very eccentric house that took a little getting used to (steep staircases, light switches that take some searching for), but then became very charming! Great location too, with easy walks to the East and West Hills, and lots of lovely restaurants and cafés nearby.

Negative: The old fashioned windows are unfortunately bad at keeping out the sounds of seagulls/passing loud motorbikes at night.

Summary: Wonderful and eccentric.

Positive: Lovely cottage with everything you need. The host had thought of everything - including shampoo/conditioner, soap etc. The beds were very comfortable and the location is great.

Positive: Beds were cosy. Nice bathroom and handy to have an extra toilet downstairs. Kitchen was well equipped.

Negative: Photos are a little deceptive as it looks bigger than it is. There’s no Welcome/Info Pack which would help with things like how to use the TV, what’s the Wifi password etc. We had a message at 23:45 the night before we left to tell us what we should do with rubbish the next morning! Again an info pack would avoid this. The furniture may be in keeping with the property but it’s not comfortable at all! The small sofa looks nice but is very hard and uncomfortable. The chairs are quite wobbly and we were too scared to sit on them incase they broke! One side of the wall behind the bed in the bottom bedroom is damp and plaster is coming off. The basement “games room” smells musty and damp.
