Warm, colorful and friendly with a nice combination of new and antique furnishings. Comfort is our primary focus, king sized bed, all cotton linens, sparkly bathroom, large deck with view, beautiful tile and granite kitchen and cozy living room. There’s also a queen sized aero bed that can be rolled out on the deck if you choose to sleep under the stars. Walking distance to Indian Rock Vineyards and tasting room.The evenings are filled with the sounds of frogs and crickets, turn off the lights for great star gazing. Deer, turkey, quail and rabbits are frequent visitors.

Summary: perfect location for quiet relaxation up in the woods surrounded by beautiful nature with the luxury of hotel-like inside/ well equipped home. Did not need to go out of the property at all because the place is already sufficiently amazing. Only minor communication problem did not get exact info how to open the gate ahead of time but Renee answered our call right away and helped us.

Summary: We had a lovely time. The weather was perfect. The host was very responsive. The home has everything you would need. The views from the deck were amazing, especially watching to moon rise. We were able to recharge. We would love to come stay again!

Summary: Quiet and secluded with wonderful accommodations. Beautifully decorated inside and a super comfy bed also. Because the cottage sits up on a hill, the views from the deck and surrounding acreage are really lovely. Very peaceful place.

Summary: My beau and I absolutely loved our stay at Renee and Paul’s hideaway! It is beautifully designed with style and class. It was the perfect size for 2. We grilled and sipped both our evening wine and morning coffee on the deck-watching the antics of the resident hummingbird. Bed was very comfortable! Nice bath and toiletries. The kitchen was perfect. (Note that there is a microwave but no oven). Secluded and yet close enough to town. We will be back!

Summary: Loved this sweet cottage! Everything we needed was there, and it is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Located about 1.5 miles outside of town and set on its own with lovely sweeping views meant a real sense of privacy and so quiet and peaceful! Renee was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back as this is a perfect base for walking in Big Trees State Park (fall colors were amazing) and cycling, plus enjoying the sweet town and amenities of Murphys.
