Summary: My family had a lovely time staying at the Tin Cup Palace. We enjoyed gathering in the family room upstairs and hanging out in the billiards area downstairs. We made use of the pool several times and our dogs really appreciated the fully fenced backyard. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom, which was really nice. The downtown area of Duck is a short, pleasant walk away as is the beach access on Plover. My mother-in-law recently injured her leg and rented a golf cart to get around, which was perfect for her. We'll definitely be back :)

Summary: Tin Cup had everything we needed for our family of 9. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had 2 concerns that we told maintenence about and they came right away to fix/replace it. The elevator was such a plus for our parents who are all in their 70's. The kitchen was well stocked, the only thing was we had to wash a lot of the dishes when we arrived as they weren't clean and the sink needed a good scrubbing. The pool and hot tub were just the right temperature and clean as well. Overall it was a great week spent with our parents and adult children. Thanks so much!

Summary: My wife and I and our dog had a wonderful stay. My wife needs an elevator, and the house had a convenient one which meant she never had to climb a single step. The back yard was perfect for our dog, as were the wrap around decks. The location was ideal -- a few minutes of easy walking to the beach and the boardwalk. The second and first floors were great for visiting family, with the pool table a particular hit. And Shoreline OBX was great to deal with. Thank you!

Summary: Would definitely return. Very clean. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes were available for our use. We were about to go buy a gate for the stairs because of concern for my grandson but there was no need, there was one in the garage! The elevator was a must for my 76 year old mother, she was able to safely spend time on all floors of the house. This house truly had everything we needed for our stay. The owners are definitely dog lovers. There were dog beds and bowls available for our dogs. The yard was a little concerning. There are several wood planks missing from the fence and we were concerned the dogs would get out. The only thing I would change is having the grill by the pool so I could grill in the same area while my family was swimming. It was only a short 3 minute drive to the beach. We’ve been vacationing in the outer banks for many years and this is the best house we have ever stayed at!

Summary: We had an amazing time. The place was perfect! The only reason for the four stars would have to be the ants in the pool area. They were really overwhelming, all though we where told there were ants when we checked in we did NOT expected them to be as bad as they were!

Summary: We stayed here for the week and it was a great time for our group. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were important so the fact that each room has it own bathroom was great for us. There was plenty of space for people to be able to hang out together as well as have their own space if needed. We had never been to the Outer Banks before so we had no idea what we were getting into location wise. The walk down to the boardwalk was quick and easy which made the shopping and eating out easy to get to. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad either. It was nice to have access semi-close about much more than 5 minute bike ride or walk away. Overall we had a great time and would come back again!

Summary: We just got back from staying at the Tin Cup Palace for a week on our first visit to Duck. Our party consisted of 2 adults in our 40s, 2 grandparents (late 60s/70s), 2 teen boys, an 11 year old girl and our Labrador. The house was exactly as described and better. It had plenty of room and was meticulously decorated. Even bring dog friendly, the house was meticulous and there was no sign that other dogs had been there (apart from the cute dog-directed signs and decor throughout the home!). We loved staying in a house where it is obvious that the homeowners love their fur babies too! The Tim Cup Palace had all of the amenities to keep our party entertained all week- a beautiful kitchen to cook in (fully stocked!); plenty of decks to sit on; TVs galore; an awesome game room for our snacks, drinks and evening fun; and a beautiful pool that we spent the majority of our time by. Our boys appreciated the sports packages on the tv so they did at have yo miss their games!! Our daughter called the pool “the lagoon” because it was private, stone and perfect to cool off in. There was ample seating around the pool for all and both shady and sunny spots to suit everyone. The hot tub abd the pool were big hits with our group! The property manager was responsive when we needed a lightbulb changed in the main level water closet- he responded immediately and came within a few hours. The pool was maintained daily by a crew so it is obviously well cared for. All appliances and AC worked perfectly and the sheets and towels that were dropped off had no problems. Our favorite part of this house is the quiet side street that is about a 0.5 mile walk to both the center of Duck as well as the beach. The proximity to town made our grandparents very happy for easy walks into town and helped us to keep our car parked in the driveway and get some exercise on a daily basis. The beach access is direct and not far. I’d suggest bringing a beach cart to wheel your belongings to the beach since it is about a 10 minute walk; however, it is a direct and scenic walk on a side street. The cart just freed up our hands as we walked. We could not have been happier with the Tin Cup Palace. It is a hidden gem in Duck that I hope to visit again!!! Thank you to the homeowners for maintaining and sharing such a lovely property. It made our first trip to the Outer Banks memorable. We will be coming back!

Summary: We had a lovely week in Duck. The home is very spacious. Nice kitchen and fun basement complete with a pool table. There was a pool, we are beach people, I think our youngest only jumped in once, but it was nice to have. I highly recommend.

Summary: We had plenty of room to spread out. The house was especially great for kids. We had very young kids to teenagers and they all had their own space which was a great time! No one but couples shared bathrooms! We would stay here again. The decks on every level was an awesome feature. The beach was extremely clean. Of course the private pool, game room and hot tub also provided hours of entertainment!
