Summary: As per other reviews for quite some time, the rugs in the living room are very curled and yes my son tripped over them. Don’t know why this has not been addressed. We spent an hour trying to figure out how to watch the televisions. There were zero instructions. Deck furniture is very weathered and numerous cracked and splintered boards as well as nails sticking out several inches in the front decks so we could not use them. Who the hell wants splinters in their vacation?? They need some serious tlc. Would also be helpful to tell tenants where the washer and dryer is… we had to look. Tried calling vacasa to get answers but no one would answer the phone. Today it was way over priced is an understatement for its condition and especially at only 3 nights with 2 full days of stay. Sand everywhere and rugs not vacuumed.

Summary: The listing was everything I expected. The cleaning crew did not leave a comforter for the master, or a key for the laundry. It was an inconvenience to try and straighten that out. Again there are no issues with the place itself just the management/cleaning crew

Summary: Instructions said PArking pass required - there was no parking pass - and when I called - they said sorry we will check into that - then nothing - no further replies. Then local folks asked the same thing with basically the same non-response. SAD

Summary: Mother- daughter trip for senior week. The house was a nice, spacious, and affordable rental, nearby the town of Duck, with a 10 -15 minute walk to the beach. Check in and check out were easy. Neighborhood pool was nice with areas of sun and shade. Beach access was very private and the beach wasn't overly busy even on the weekend. Bedrooms and family room were comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed. The owners could improve this rental by providing more outdoor seating on the balconies. Each balcony only had 1 Adirondack chair, which wasn't friendly for a party of 4. Overall, I would recommend this home as an affordable home in a great location.

Summary: Clean and comfortable home. Great location Inadequate lighting in living and dining areas. Lamp on off switch broken in the living room Poorly appointed kitchen - inadequate number and size of pots and pans Lack of written information regarding the house (operating the tv, recycling instruction) and the community (medical services, the board walk). Information regarding house location from the beach was felt to be inaccurate. Material stated it’s a block off the beach. It is more like a quarter mile from the beach

Summary: This review is two fold. One on the unit, one on the property managers, Vacasa: We arrived on time to find the unit very unclean. The bedrooms were fine, but the trash cans were full, the floors dirty, and a pending drywall repair in the kitchen unfinished with drywall dust everywhere. We called Vacasa and the representative was very concerned and promised to have a cleaning crew there within the hour. They did just that. The husband/wife team did an excellent job cleaning the condo in about an hour. We were very happy and called Vacasa back to thank them. That said, Vacasa called us back the next day to follow up. They were excellent in responding to our concerns. The Unit: We were looking for a price point because we were only staying in Duck 3 nights. The unit is well located off Rt. 12 and only minutes from Duck. It seemed to have all new TVs(I had to program the living room TV as a new setup) and the internet was fast. The unit could use some upgrades. The living room area rug had curled up corners that are a trip hazard. Shower curtains were a cheaper grade. Both decks were quite weathered and needed some boards replaced. The furniture was comfortable, and the master bed was very comfortable. We wanted to use the tennis courts but the electronic lock wasn't working. If you are looking for a price point rental and don't mind some cheaper appointments this is a fine choice. My rating of 3 stars was boosted by Vacasa's performance.

Summary: This is a very nice property and is in close proximity to Duck - nice walking distance. It is right on the main street so there is some road noise but not too bad, though. The walk to the beach and pool amenities are about a block away. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Place was very nice. For the most part it was a clean space, linens and towels were clean. Only few negatives, the area rugs in living room/dining area were flipped up in the corner and could be a tripping hazard. And it appeared the master bathroom was not cleaned prior to us checking in. By choice, since our time there was limited due obligations, we did not notify anyone. Also, the blinds were missing some hanging slats and didn’t operate properly on some doors. This was inconvenient from a privacy standpoint. With that said, I wouldn’t hesitate recommending or staying there again! (Lastly, it would have been helpful to have instructions on how to work the living room TV. There was 3 remotes, one had no batteries).
