This waterfront home on 70 feet of private Great Sacandaga Lake beach is the perfect place for your vacation. Across the street of this stunning property, you will find your own private beach area with a fire pit, boat dock, kayaks, paddle boards and outdoor lawn furniture. End your nights relaxing by the fire or start your day enjoying swimming, fishing, and kayaking.
**Dock, kayaks and paddleboard use are available (weather permitting) Mid May until after Mid September weekend.
During the winter months enjoy skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling throughout thousands of miles of endless trails.
The Lake front area across the street is very accessible and flat, which is hard to come by on The Great Sacandaga Lake. The property comes with a 80' docks that can be used by guest during their stay. Please inquire about boat sizes so we can ensure to accommodate your watercraft appropriately. The waterfront is sandy and has gradual grade into the water so it perfect for families with small children to enjoy.
This unit is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-full bath and 1 half bath home we call the South Shore Edgewater Loft. (Sleeps 6 guest, can accommodate 8 with approval) As you walk through the front door you will find yourself in the first floor entryway. If you head left up the stairs it will take you to the loft. As you enter the loft you will be in the open kitchen, dining and living room area, where you will find a queen size pullout couch to accommodate larger groups. Towards the back of the loft you will find a large full bathroom and laundry room. Directly across from the full bathroom is the master bedroom outfitted with a queen size bed and huge walk-in closet to store plenty of luggage for longer stays. If you head back downstairs there is a large bedroom that has 2 bunk beds. This is a very large bedroom with a half bath attached. It has a large TV, some kid books and games for everyone to enjoy.
To access the living areas, you will need to be able to climb at least 1 flight of stairs. There is no access to the garage, but there is ample parking at the property in the driveway.
There is another VR house located on this property that may be rented out while you are staying here. We have separate patios at the house that are very secluded. Also near the lake we have separate fire places, kayaks, and paddles boards for each individual house hold staying on the property to enjoy. We strive to keep the areas segregated so all guest have their own space and ensure interaction amongst guests is limited so everyone has privacy.
Extra Costs:
There is an extra guest fee of $25 per night after 6 guest.
This Property is pet friendly, and requires a pet fee $50 per stay to cover your four-legged guests.

35-minute drive to Saratoga Springs Horse Track and Casino. 40-minute drive to Saratoga Springs Performing Arts. 45-minute drive to Lake George and the Six Flags Great Escapes. There are numerous hiking trails to be explored all throughout the Adirondack Mountains. (Download All Trails App on Mobile Device) Spend the day walking the cute little villages of Northville and Broadalbin both only a short 15-minute drive. Endless restaurants, golf, shopping, and local festivals all 4 seasons of the year. There is boat and snowmobile rental within 1 mile at the Edinburgh Marina. 40-Minute drive to Gore Mountain Ski Resort. 30-Minute drive to West Mountain Ski Resort. In the winter months the lake freezes over and has some of Update New York’s best ice fishing!

Summary: This property was perfect for my family. The loft was very clean, spacious and just across the street from the lake. We have a pontoon boat we were able to keep at the dock which was amazing and so convenient. There is plentiful outdoor space to spend time including a patio and fire pit. Kyle was very responsive and was super helpful when I got sick last minute and plans needed to be adjusted. I don’t cook much so it wasn’t a big deal for me, but the kitchen was lacking pots and pans so just keep that in mind when packing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Summary: Kyle, was a fantastic host, his communication was excellent and friendly and informative. This entire property is absolutely awesome, its well decorated, clean and well apportioned with virtually everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. I had brought my boat and utilized his new dock which is large enough to accamodate my 27' boat. The beach area well maintained and has a fire pit, with available fire wood, furniture and even Kyaks! I would defiantly stay again! Thanks Kyle for being a great host!
