Positive: The home is spacious, clean and located in a quiet.area. Once you get your bearings it's a breeze to get in and out. Parking right outside the door to the accommodation and easy to access with a lock box conveniently placed with a light if you're returning late at night.like we did. The owners were very communicative immediately after booking and prior to artival with comprehensive instructions on how to get to the property. We forgot some items and they were very prompt in letting us know. We were able to pick up our things before leaving Whangarei. Overall my family loved the accommodation and our stay.
Negative: On arrival the space had a musty smell which dissipated by the next morning. We put it down to the space having been closed up prior to our arrival. The kitchen space is set up in the laundry and the mixture of utensils for food and washing dirty clothes in the same space is not what we are use to. The main property is above the accommodation and occasionally you can hear the people above moving around. The noise was minimal.

Positive: The bedroom was nice and cozy. Very spacious, good view outside, and were very generous with condiments and such including bread, milk, coffee and sugar.

Positive: Shirley welcomed us on arrival. The place was roomy and Cosy. It had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of selection for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. It is just 5 mins from the center of town and restaurants and cafes. Whangarei has great walks to do and plenty of natural bush walks. I will stay again if in Whangarei.
