Positive: It was a beautiful house, loved the older setting of the house - wood floors etc, but yet modernized. King size bed was so comfortable! House was nice and warm when we arrived, kitchen was properly equipped with what we needed. Also there were TVs in the bedrooms. My family enjoyed their stay.
Negative: The location, but we felt safe with the alarm system. It wasn’t a bad neighborhood but you wouldn’t want to be out and about at night though- common sense practice.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay, loved the house. we brought our daughters with us and took them to their first Pittsburgh Steelers

Negative: the stair banisters only one full bathroom- listing says two not one and a1/2 steep steps doors that stick

Negative: it was a further drive from work- and there was many road constructions. (not the fault of the property owners!)

Positive: Place was very comfortable and spacious. Location is great, close to downtown Pittsburgh. Quiet and friendly neighborhood.
Negative: The kitchen was missing some essentials for basic cooking. If you plan to eat out most or all meals shouldn't concern you. The shower water was either hot or boiling hot, no cold/warm water. Great in the winter not so much in the summer.

Positive: The location was close to everything that we planned to do, the house is beautiful and we loved the that they maintained the old charm and modernized the home, at the same time. The decorations are done well, our overall stay was great. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 king, 1 queen, and one with twin beds, 1 full bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs. There are ceiling fans in all the major areas.
Negative: I didn't like the fact that I had to dust off everything and the central air wasn't working, the king and queen bedrooms had window air, which worked well, didn't like the fact that there was no air and tv in the twin size bedroom. They also have a stand alone air unit in the stairwell. Over all this didn't affect our stay, the house cooled down and it worked out well. For future visitors, please ensure that the home is cleaned thoroughly before they arrive. No one wants to have to dust everything and wipe everything down. Some more seating in the living space downstairs.
