Villa Dino i Karla, a beautiful old stone villa, is located on the outskirts of a small village Mengici in the heart of Istria.
On a quiet place near the woods offering complete privacy with enough room for families with children.
Staying at Villa Dino i Karla you will enjoy the comfort of the carefully decorated interior, the spacious garden with a lot of shade and sun and the refreshing pool.
The whole house is air conditioned. On the bottom floor you will find an old Istrian kitchen with an inside open fireplace, and a game room with a pool table. There is also an additional bedroom.
The first floor provides a luxurious and comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a separate toilet and two bedrooms with king size beds.
The bedrooms are stylish and quiet, and the bathroom whirlpool provides complete relaxation.
The second floor provides 3 bedrooms with double beds, and one bedroom with 3 beds, with two bathrooms, and a shaded teracce.
There is plenty of room in the gated garden for children games, there is a shaded outside dining table overlooking the pool.
A charcoal grill is also located in the garden.
There is room for 5 cars inside the garden, and as much as required outside the garden. The Villa is surrounded with nature, meadows and woods with many paths for hiking and bicycle riding.

Summary: The communication was very good and I also got an answer immediately. The villa itself is very beautiful and the surrounding is very quiet. It was very clean an the pool was nice. All over a perfect stay. We stayed there with 11 grown ups and 2 children. There are many possibilities to play for children and for grown ups you can play table tennis and Billard.

Summary: Highly recommend, definitely need a car however. Spotlessly clean and every piece of kitchen equipment you could wish for. Loved the pool and table tennis. Hosts very welcoming and helpful (son speaks excellent English!) Would return.

Summary: We spent a fantastic week this summer at Villa Dino i Karla. The villa is spacious and offers everything for a relaxed vacation for all ages. The villa is clean and well maintained by Dorijan and Suzana, who are very welcoming and helpful. The villa is located in the middle of Istria, which gives the great opportunity to explore many parts of the peninsula; from Rabac to Rovinj to Pula, all 30 to 45 minutes drive away, if you arrive by car. Our stay at the villa was just wonderful. ~Ellen

Summary: We were three families (7 adults, 7 kids) staying at the Villa for one week, and it was an amazing house! The kids were occupied with all the facilities (Pool, Billiards, Trampoline, Ping Pong, Slide, Swing), which meant the adults could relax. The place is huge, so one can slip away and sit on one of the many balconies and relax with a book. The host was VERY accommodating, and took very good care of us. They lived next door, and came over with cakes and desserts several times during our stay. Whatever our question was, they followed up! The location is quite ideal too, as its a short drive to most places of interest. Pula is only 30min away, the same with Rovinj. We would recommend hiring a car for the duration of the stay, as its difficult to get around by bus or taxi. All in all we had an amazing time at the Villa, and will definitely try and book it next time we are coming to Croatia from Norway.

Summary: The owners (who live next door) were wonderful, greeting us with food and drink and repeating this hospitality several times. They even provided a birthday dinner for one of our group whose birthday occurred while we were in the house. We were an extended family of 12. We could all sit together to eat in the kitchen on the ground floor of the house and also outside on the roofed terrace. (There were two other kitchens, thus one per floor, but the other two could only seat 8 and 6). The kitchen that seated 12 was very well equipped. The swimming pool was in constant use and we enjoyed the ping pong table and pool table as well. The house was very clean and fresh and solidly built. We all used and appreciated the free Wifi. There was room to park our three cars within the gated walls of the house. There were balconies and covered sitting areas on all three levels of the house, thus plenty of options for a quiet read or getting together with others in the group. We certainly recommend this house to other families.
