5 Bedroom House in Hilltop

The best thing about our home is its location in the popular Hilltop area with spectacular lake and mountain views from the elelvated level. Perfect for either a large family, or family groups. It is comfortable and practically laid out, offering a large open plan living area. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are in one big room with a log fire to keep you cosy during the winter months.
Downstairs, there is a heat pump for warmth and all beds have electric blankets. Big garage for parking and bike storage. Parking for boats available too, entry through double gates at front of section. Access to lake is a five minute walk down a pathway through a cul-de-sac around the corner.
Short walking distance to the Hilltop shopping centre boasting the famous "Mole and Chicken" restaurant/bar, and the renowned fish and chips eatery "The Grasshopper". Park close by for the children and De Bretts is a 3 minute drive.
The fully fenced section is safe for children and toddlers, allowing them to utilise lawn area for games, playing and also jumping on the trampoline. Multiple areas available to sit and enjoy the sun while relaxing on holiday. Use also as an event base. We have our own rustic thermal hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. This is popular with all ages.
Internet, Porta cot, high chair and some baby linen available. Bring your own bedding and towels. Linen can be provided if requested for a small fee. This home is in a lovely quiet area, please be respectful of our neighbours at all times. Strictly no parties.

This is a quiet neighbourhood - absolutely NO PARTIES.

Summary: We stayed as a group of six adults and two young kids - the house was perfect for us and even had plenty of space to share. We enjoyed the functional kitchen and living area, ample outdoor space, and great views of the lake and sunset. The location is a short drive or long walk into town and a short walk to a great hot water beach on the lakefront. Overall I would recommend this house and would happily stay again!

Summary: Had such an awesome stay at the house. Was so handy for the kids after their full on day the Taupo global rugby tournament. Can’t thank you enough for having this house to offer us. Was very warm and cosy and the hot tub was fantastic.

Summary: 2nd time at this property and we will be looking forward to staying again. An ideal place for groups of friends to use as a convenient base for Taupo based activities. All the amenities that you need to ensure a comfortable stay. Overall, excellent!

Summary: fantastic place to visit. Great for the 2 families to meet! Plenty of room the cat the “befriended us” even had space!!! The hot tub and bunk beds were a HUGE hit with the kids!!!!! So warm, relaxing and the views were outstanding! The men were happy to have have sky to watch the rugby and be far away enough from the sleeping kids they could use whatever language they wanted. I would happily and confidently recommend here and we will definitely be back, maybe over summer to enjoy the views and back gardens. Thank you!!!!
