Escape to an inviting cabin with expansive 180 degree big water views of lake Keowee. Point lot with 295 ft frontage. Mostly flat grassy area right up to the water, and an easy gentle walk to the water from the house. Your own private sandy beach area with steps into the lake. We have a dock for swimming or parking your boat and a gazebo on the shoreline. Large dock installed May 2022. Brand new hot tub located on lower level back deck. Plenty of parking for your cars.
Main level living space is an open floor plan among the living room, kitchen and dining space with plenty of comfortable seating and different vantage points for lake views. There is a floor to ceiling stone fireplace with gas logs shared by the living room and master bedroom. Knotty pine walls and rustic decor compliment the cabin feel. Master bedroom is on the main level with king bed, master bathroom and walk in closet. Also on the main level is another bathroom and two additional bedrooms - one with king bed and one with full sized bunkbeds. Downstairs is another living area with 65" TV, pool table, bathroom and two bedrooms - one with King and one bunk room with 4 twin sized beds plus a trundle bed with two additional twin mattresses making 6 beds total. Downstairs level walks out onto huge lower level deck with outdoor seating/dining space, gas fire table, and brand new hot tub. We have separate heating and cooling systems (both replaced 2021) for upstairs and downstairs, both controlled with wifi thermostats.
There are a lot of indoor and outdoor games to enjoy and as our guests we encourage you to try as many as you’d like - Basketball hoop, pool table, ladder golf, yard size jenga, yard Yahtzee, board games and dominos, puzzles. Kitchen is equipped with all cooking needs and complimented with two grills on the front porch - one full sized gas grill with 6 burners and one 18" Komodo Joe smoker. Our house is located at the end of a cul de sac with about 10 houses on our street. There is no through traffic so our kids enjoy safely and responsibly riding bikes, skateboards or scooters in the street.
We are 19 minutes to Clemson, 11 minutes to Seneca, 14 minutes to hikes and cute downtown of Wahalla. We are also conveniently located on the south side of Lake Keowee - close to Lake Keowee Marina and The Tiki Hut, one mile drive from Cane Creek Boat Ramp. There is an island directly across the lake with sandy swimming beach.
Our favorite part about the house is feeling like you are on a ship - house is close enough to the water and elevated just enough that while sitting in the main level living space you will see only big open water views - no visible land between the house and water. You can also enjoy a full sunrise and sunset view from the house in winter. During summer the sunset view is great from the right side of the deck, from the hot tub, or from the dock which faces west.
