3 Bedroom Condo in Copacabana, RIO DE JANEIRO

This spacious 3 bedrooms, 3 full bath (two with glass shower boxes) penthouse is located just 1/2 block from the famous Copacabana beach and can comfortably accommodate a party of up to six. (We have a policy of no more than 6 people sleeping in the apartment.) The penthouse has a view of the ocean and the mountain from both patios.
Cross ventilation and breeze from ocean because of the alignment of the sliding glass doors from small patio to large patio. There is fresh air from the ocean and cross ventilation. Plus, Penthouse 1301 is the only apartment on the 13th floor so there is plenty of privacy. (Most apartments in Copacabana do not offer cross ventilation.) There is lots of natural light... one side of apartment is completely large windows.
Marble seats and rails on all patios so there is maximum vista and breezes. Both patios are exclusive to the penthouse and accessible only from inside the apartment. One is open to the sun and one has a translucent roof.
Equipped with a large American open kitchen opens to the living area , a spacious living room and dining room combination. Ceilings are 12 feet high, art is original by Brazilian artists, leather furniture, and all natural plants. I am always renovating, painting and up-grading the apartment. Most photos and video was taken in September 2020.
For your comfort there are air conditioners and ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms and living area and ceiling reading lights above each bed. Amenities include a 47' LED TV, WIFI, cable, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker on door and filtered drinking water, microwave, eye-level oven, gas stove top, toaster, blender, washer and dryer, wireless internet connection, sound machines in each bedroom and LED lights above each bed for reading. Towels, linens, 3 safes, black-out window treatments in all bedrooms and maid service once a week is also provided.
Due to its proximity to Ipanema and Arpoador areas, guests can walk to the Hippie Fair on Sundays or visit the shops, restaurants, and beaches of Ipanema and Arpoador beaches. Around the apartment there are numerous restaurants, live music on beach, juice kiosks, movie theater, night clubs, fast food and McDonald's and the famous Copacabana beach.
Wonderful Brazilian seafood at Principe de Monaco Restaurant just an elevator ride away. Always fresh seafood and lively diners.....I love their draft beer.
There are beautiful plants and the property manager Lamartine will be coming every other day to water the plants. Everyone loves the patios and enjoys the plants.
Penthouse 1301 is a non-smoking apartment.

Summary: Lots of room in this apartment! Three bedrooms, three baths, two patios, large common area. Several US electrical outlets - we didn't need our converters at all. Owner provides a few days worth of coffee, soap, and other needs. Grocery store is right around the corner. Walking distance to beach, shops, metro. Never felt unsafe. People are very friendly and happy to help. We had a wonderful time!

Summary: Property was better than I anticipated! Great location, very clean, close to everything we needed. Also, Lamartine was a WONDERFUL host to us, very attentive and very easy to get ahold of and Extremely helpful from beginning to the very end of our stay. Summary: I honestly don’t know where to start! I guess I will the host Yates. His communication skills were phenomenal. He was provided me information about Rio before I stepped foot on a plane. Also, Lamartine was excellent, he showed us the apartment and all the amenities. He also was responsible for getting us to our location. He is awesome. Now to the location! It’s one block away from the beach!!! It’s also located near plenty of food options and bars. This is an excellent place to stay and appreciate Yates and his team for allowing my friends and I to stay.

Summary: Couldn't have asked for better hosts. Yates and Lamartine were very communicative, helpful, and super nice. The location was also excellent. We were able to easily walk to the supermarket, beach, and numerous restaurants. I think we tried to eat at every restaurant on that square block. The kids ate McDonald's and we had everything else. The food was so good. The building was also great and we felt very secure in the area. The security guards were present 24/7 and were very friendly and helpful as we came and went. The only con is that we had a hard time getting hot water in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and the floors didn't look dirty visually (very light in color) but the bottoms of my kids' feet said otherwise. We never complained it about so there could have been an easy fix for all of that but we didn't bother to ask about it because it was not a deal breaker for us. We had a great time and would stay again! Thank you.

Summary: The apartment itself is unique and well worth returning to if we traveled to Brasil again. It provided every amenity of a fully equipped apartment. We appreciated that personal towels and washcloths were provided. The view the the porch was very nice. It was spacious with such a great display of Brazilian art. I enjoyed quiet time on the covered porch with the beautiful array of plant life that added an atmosphere of peace. It is private even though it seems to be located in midst of local activity. We were able to get a great view of the New Years fire works from the back porch with no obstruction. The furnishings are very modern with a rich feel and the beds made for a comfortable sleep. **I feel the apartment is well situated in the heart of experiencing Brasil at its best. The walk to the beach was an amazing venture. The sidewalk merchants, the outdoor pubs, the selling on the beach are all part of my forever memories. There are plenty of landmarks to navigate back and forth to the secure and gated apartment when we went out. The apartment is located to have easy access to the outdoor restaurants and the convenience of the food market and shopping. This makes it real easy for first time visitors. We were careful not to venture to far. The Brazilian people are warm and helpful when we stumbled through interpreting English and Portuguese. Highly recommended
