Enjoy our spacious home located in the serene neighborhood of Shadow Hills!
This home is surrounded by sunshine, nature, a massive pool, a hot tub, green mountain views in every corner of the room, and the serene cascading sounds of the waterfall in the Koi pond. Minutes to Warner Bros Universal Studios Tour, Griffith Park, LA Zoo, Dodger Stadium, DTLA, and 20 mins to Hollywood. You can find cypress and palms, horses, wildlife, trails, and golf courses around the area!
Our 3 bedroom 3 bathroom home has everything you need that provides you with a relaxing and comfortable stay. Perfect for travelers, friends, families, and even business professionals who are coming to LA to relax or work.
Step onto our side sitting area or in the living area and cozy up or watch movies on the 70" TVs with streaming options provided. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and has updated amenities for those nights you want to stay and cook.
For those who are working while here, we have an office area with chairs and desks and high-speed WiFi with an internet speed of up to 280 Mbps.
After your little adventure outside, make your way into our bedrooms. The master bedroom has a California king-sized bed, and the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen-sized beds each. There are 2 portable queen-sized air mattresses available.
This home has great outdoor space to enjoy. You can enjoy the open area in the front, a large garden area outside with a hammock, or have your morning tea or coffee at the outdoor seating overlooking the lush surrounding and koi fish pond. Take a quick dip in the hot tub (can fit up to 6 people), swim in the sparkling non-heated pool while listening to music using the Suntable, or setup the grill for an evening bbq!
An ensuite washer and dryer, piano, 1 parking spot outside the gate, and 3 driveway parking spaces are all provided during your stay!

*Pool heating is optional and guests need to pay an additional $125/day.
PLEASE NOTE: We have no fence around the pool so it’s imperative you supervise children the entire time.
*Pets allowed. Maximum of 2 small pets, weighing up to less than 25 lbs each. No pets on furniture pls. Note: A $150 non-refundable pet fee will be collected for guests who will bring pets. Your pets are welcome to stay with you inside and out. Pet owners are asked to keep after their pet's waste and clean up messes in and out. The house has hardwood floors so they cannot be scratched. Thanks!
*The storage rooms are not accessible for guests to use. Please note that owners will leave their cars parked on the property during your stay but these won't be out of the way and you can still use the entire driveway space.
*There is 1 security camera in the backyard, one facing the front entrances, and one facing the side area only. No camera inside the house.
*Note: The 2 air mattresses are portable and could be put into any room. Just take it out of the bag, and plug it in. Please unplug/deflate the air mattresses and then put them back in the bags before checking out.
*Please note: Both hot tub covers must be taken on/off for every use.
*Please DO NOT feed the fish, turtle, or anything in the pond. We have someone to feed them.

Summary: A beautiful upscale Ranch style home in a quiet peaceful neighborhood, Shadow Hills was our home during our Universal family vacation in July. Although it was hot during our stay, being able to come back from a long day at the amusement parks and jump in that pool made it all worthwhile. The house layout was perfect for us, because with 2 older boys, them having their own rooms at the opposite end of the house from the Master Suite was perfect! Large Master with King bed, master bath, hot shower and the bidet were all great. We love the island kitchen, had plenty of room, we made breakfast every day and sat either in the spacious dining room or outside on the patio. We BBQ'd one night and ate outside, it was a beautiful. House was fully stocked with all the appliances and accessories we needed. The parking situation is fine if you only have one car and back down a long driveway, because there is no way to turn around, but it's not a bid deal. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that during our stay, the heater for the hot tub was not working, so the hot tub would not heat up at all. That was a bummer because we were looking forward to a nice soak to sooth those muscles after those long days, but we did have the pool. This house has it all if you are looking for a relaxing vacation home away from home.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay here. Not only was there everything to accommodate all 8 of us but it was warm and welcoming. The day in Universal was great BUT the day after at the house poolside was the best family fun day. Absolutely perfect. Thank you. Definitely recommend.

Summary: It’s a neat location among horse properties in the hills. House itself nice space. Lots of potential but too many repair issues during our stay. Yard needs TLC. AC not working. Bees nest at entry point. Not pool safe/child friendly. Air mattress leaks fyi.
