Located on 18 private acres and bordered by thousands of acres of the Green Mountain National Forest, this magnificent mountaintop home boasts views of the North Face of Mt. Snow to distant ridgelines and the forest below.
The main level of this home features a large mudroom, a grand foyer with custom stone floors, a half bath, open concept vaulted great room with soaring ceilings, natural woodwork, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, a deck with gorgeous views, expansive chef's kitchen with large breakfast island, Wolf stove, custom cabinetry, cozy den with fireplace, dining area, and laundry room. The master suite has a king sleigh bed, many closets, a sitting room with electric fireplace, a private deck and an incredible spa bathroom. On the main level there is also a large guest bedroom with sitting area and a private bathroom.
The upper level features a guest bedroom, sitting room, full bath and open balcony/cat walk overlooking the great room.
The lower level features an entertaining wet bar, family room with fireplace, game room with full bath, hot tub room, sauna, home theater, another laundry room, and guest suite with full bath, sitting room and fireplace.
Above the massive 3-car garage is a guest apartment with a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a full bath.
Outside there is a whole house automatic generator, nice pond and paved driveway with plenty of parking. This incredible estate is only a short 15 to 20 minute drive to either Mt. Snow or Stratton ski areas. In the winter, 4-wheel drive vehicles are strongly recommended for access to this property.

Summary: Are group really enjoyed this home! Tons of space to relax in and take in the scenery. Large kitchen with fully functioning appliances (we have had issues with other homes) including a great warming drawer thT was great.for keeping our family style dinners nice and warm. Nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms and the theater room is highly recommended! Great location too, close to Mt. Snow and Stratton giving you a few different options for day trips.

Summary: The property had plenty of space to accommodate our family. Couple things needed a TV on the main living space/main family room. The house should be stalked with cleaning products to clean kitchen counters etc. There were certain areas that weren’t very clean on arrival. We also went out and bought shock for the hot tub again this should be stalked and ready for use.

Summary: Place is amazing, very spacious and clean. Gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook for a big family. Owners of the property were amazing to work with, they actually checked in with us to make sure everything was meeting our expectations.

Summary: This house was large and spacious with ample room for our group to spread out (11 adults + 1 dog). Each couple had their own large private space and bathroom which was great. There were plenty of quiet spots around the house for us to relax away from the group if needed. We made good use of the kitchen, theater, hot tub, and sauna. We had heavy rain for the majority of our stay but we did manage to spend some time outside on the lawn on the one clear day. The mountain views from the house were lovely, and we even saw some deer grazing by the pond. The house could use a bit of maintenance. Some windows and doors were missing screens which made getting fresh air (without letting mosquitoes in) a bit difficult in some rooms. The kitchen could use a bit of a restock. The knives were dull and some of the pans were rusted and unusable. The counters and table were a bit dirty and the floors were sticky in some spots when we arrived. Also, we did have to rewash many of the dishes from the cabinets as they were not clean. There were no cleaning supplies, and very little dish soap so we did have to go and purchase our own. That said, we all had a nice time and I would gladly book this again for another stay in the future.

Summary: Stayed for a long weekend with adult friends. Everyone had a great time; lots of space to hang out without being on top of each other. Everything was as depicted in the listing and the host was very responsive to all of our questions in advance of the event and I’m sure would have been available during our stay as well, but we didn’t need them because everything worked exactly as it should have. Beautiful location with fabulous views. We’ll definitely be back!

Summary: We ran into a couple of snags - it is a very steep/long driveway and even with a 4Matic SUV we were unable to get up until it was plowed and a few things were not working - sauna and some water pressure issues upon arrival. That said, the owner was VERY responsive. The place is well equipped and as beautiful as pictured. Great location between Mt Snow & Stratton. Would highly recommend and stay again.

Summary: The house was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. It was huge and there was ample space for our group of 12. Our only noteable mishap was that the hot tub looked a little yellow/brown so our group was nervous to go in. This was a bummer after a long ski day. Otherwise, the house was clean and in a great location near Stratton. There was lots of firewood in the garage that we made fires with during our cold weekend there. Thanks for hosting us!

Summary: We had a wonderful long weekend at this grand home. The house is beautiful and offered plenty of room for our party of 10. The location is convenient to both Stratton and Mount Snow. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplaces, sauna, hot tub and movie theater. Ken & Laura were also very responsive with any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone with a large group that is looking to rent in Southern Vermont.
