This gorgeous home sits on one of the finest properties on Chazy Lake. Over 500 feet of private shoreline on 3+ acres. Enjoy breathtaking views while dining on the screen porch, having coffee watching the sun rise, or relaxing by the fire pit. Have fun with many of the outdoor games such as washer toss, kan jam, bocce, badminton and corn hole. Relax on the hammock, kayak or fish off the dock. For the more adventurous hike Lyon mountain for spectacular views of Vermont and Canada. On those gloomy days enjoy playing indoor games by the large stone gas fireplace.
Pets/ breed must be preappoved by owner. $250 per pet fee to be paid directly to owner.

Summary: As advertised....this place has everything one would need to have a great vacation experience. With a family of five adults we took advantage of the variety of games, books, puzzles on the few days of cool/ wet days. Used the gas fireplace to take the chill out of the air. Other than one evening when we ordered out we took advantage of the well stocked kitchen to create our six other meals during the week. The grill outdoors came in handy as well. Plenty of elbow room within the house to relax watching tv or to spend time in the screened in porch. Outdoors the deck overlooking lake Chazy was perfect. Our Golden Retriever spent hours on end splashing around in the lake as did we. Threw in some fishing and a bunch of evenings around the fire pit and the whole week was just what we were looking for. As usual it all went by too quickly. Highly recommend this place!!!

Summary: We loved it. It was easy to get into the lake and we swam everyday. Fishing was excellent off the dock for our 7 yr old granddaughter. The home was stocked with every game available in and out doors. Our granddaughter Loved the woodsmen trail. The house is beautiful, immaculate and equipped with everything you could want or need. I highly recommend it for a family vacation.

Summary: Our experience staying at this property was wonderful! The house comfortably fit our family of four with lots of seating options for meals in the dining area in the huge back room, deck and screened in porch. The house was very clean and the owners provided many additional “extras”. They generously provided outdoor games and kayaks for guests to use. Communication with the owners was fantastic as they readily answered all questions asked. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. Thank you Joel and Donna for a fabulous week long stay.

Summary: Our family of four vacationed here in August, and it exceeded our expectations! The house and property were beautifully kept, and had plenty to entertain our two boys for the week. We ventured out a couple times to eat, and even took a day trip to Montreal. Honestly, the house has everything you need!

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a place we could bring our young German Shepherd dog and my soon-to-be 88 year old uncle for a vacation. This house was perfect! It sits well off of the main road, so we had no worries about our pup encountering high speed traffic. And the property was bordered by the lake and woods, so our guy quickly learned his boundaries and didn’t wander off. The landscaping is lovely - with lots of little gardens, young fruit trees, and berry patches tucked around the property. My uncle lives in Plattsburgh and it was only a 30 minute drive from his home to this house. The house has only a few shallow stairs with a sturdy hand rail to climb to get inside. Once inside, it is all one level (important for my uncle), with just a single step down to the screened in porch and to the great room. We spent almost all of our waking hours in those two rooms. The views of the lake were stunning. The place was furnished with very nice and comfortable furniture with an Adirondack theme. My uncle often napped a lot in the comfy platform rocker in the great room. And when he woke up he would see a snow shoe behind a lamp, and would be reminded of wearing snowshoes as a kid. The furniture prompted a lot of stories! Because we were wrangling the dog and sitting with my uncle, we didn’t use all of the wonderful features of the house. There is a fire pit near the lake, and Kayaks, a barbecue and lawn games. The puppy and I did enjoy the little beach near the fire pit and went in and out of the lake several times. Our guy now knows how to swim! Our hosts thoughtfully left a few essentials (like coffee) to get us started, and there was also a lovely welcome basket with goodies for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, and the internet worked fine, even through a rain storm. We visit my Uncle every year, and my husband and I are agreed that we will try to book here on future visits,. We will try to convince our daughter in Massachusetts to join us next time. With three bedrooms and two baths, the house would very comfortably sleep five. It’s a wonderful spot for a small multigenerational family reunion!
