Welcome to SEA LA VIE beach house, your luxurious home away from home at the shore. Our private 4 bedroom beach house offers fantastic panoramic views of the water with a spectacular & pristine swimming beach. Enjoy the gentle surf while relaxing on the sugar sand bayside beaches and watch the dolphins frolic just offshore.
No need for dolphin excursions when you get them daily from your beach! You have a serene shallow beach front with sparkling white sand to claim as your own, snorkel from, and search for shells. Lots of starfish hangout in this area and you can see them dusting the bottom below you. Just steps from the house is the perfect setting for the best beach vacation ever. When you are done on the beach, jump in the golf cart and ride over to the North Captiva Island Club. Included in your stay, you have access to two pools, hot tub, pool bar ( you pay for your personal consumption) tennis, basketball court, kayaks, paddle boards, fat tire bikes and more. Spend time on your beach or go socialize with other islanders. We also have of 2 single kayaks that are just for our property and allow you to launch right from our private beach on a whim.
SEA LA VIE is a tropical island paradise located on North Captiva, just 3 miles offshore, part of the Lee Island Coast Barrier chain. North Captiva Island is only accessible by conveniently scheduled ferry boats or with private water taxi. Just note that if you are driving, you will park your vehicle in one of the secured ferry lots before boarding the delightful short ferry ride over to the island. You will see lots of birds and sea life on your trip over. If you are lucky, you will even catch a dolphin or two in the wake.
This private island community is one of a kind. Quaint sandy trails and roads lead you around the island with tropical plants and palm trees lining both sides, you will feel as if you have been whisked away to another world. Here you find no cars or city noise. Explore the island by golf cart and bikes. Two golf carts are provided for your use and will be waiting when you arrive, along with a personal concierge to assist you with your luggage and get you set up for a perfect week (or more) in paradise. We have a property manager on island to assist when you have a need, but as the Owner, I directly engage with all of our guests. Pre-arrival, I send out a planning packet. You do not have to worry about the logistics of figuring out how to get from the airport to a ferry, groceries and more… we have a simple, step-by-step guide with easy to follow and trusted partners to make your vacation perfect. I work hard to make sure our guests that stay in our home have all their questions answered and feel prepared to arrive without stress. My goal is to make this as easy as possible for you and your family.
We want you to feel at home while you are staying at SEA LA VIE. You have 2,600 sq ft under A/C with more than 4,200 sq ft of living space, including open decks on both floors and a covered veranda on the main level. The home is furnished perfectly for casual island living, including updated tile floors and comfortable furniture. All 4 bathrooms have been completely updated with full size custom vanities, custom shower/bath tile work and a stunning rare Brazilian stone vanity tops. Each of the three master bedrooms have their own private full size bathroom. New in December of 2023 is a full walk in, custom tiled, oversized shower in the Vip Tranquility Suite bathroom.
One of the most special features unique to our home an expansive and unobstructed beach all for your enjoyment. No dragging chairs and coolers, just walk off your front steps onto your beach. It is yours for the week. This part of the beach is private and very close to North Captiva's famous Dolphin Beach. The area is a perfect spot to relax, float, and swim. It is ideal for families with children of all ages. We have sand toys and plenty of chairs that you can leave out during your stay. Another wonderful feature of the SEA LA VIE beach is that even during high tides, you still have a large beach to play. You can stay beachside all day without losing your sand castles. When you need a sun break, simply walk to our beach level entertainment area where you will find lounging furniture, beach games, a full size refrigerator/ freezer, commercial ice maker that makes 100 pounds of ice per day, Weber grill and an additional dining table for 8.
We hope you enjoy cooking and will use this week to try new foods and experiment with local flavors. The kitchen is set up for foodies with the equipment you need to make a gourmet meal or something simple. You have an outdoor Weber grill (propane included) to create your next bbq masterpiece by the sea. We can even arrange to have you set up with a private chef for a spectacular beachside private dining experience. No detail is left behind. We have all new updated kitchen items, you will not be disappointed. We even have a pink KitchenAid stand mixer to make creative and fun meals. At the beach level, SEA LA VIE offers an extra full-size refrigerator to keep all your drinks ready & cool. A whole house REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM which offers clean and tasteless fresh water out of every spigot, even showers. That means no need for bottled water to lug in or spend extra money. We have plenty of reusable cups and tumblers so you can reload and go! Even our outdoor beach level ice maker is producing diamond quality ice!
For interior home entertainment, you have 3 smart tv's with YouTube TV and high-speed, Starlink Wi-Fi. We are fully stocked for family game nights at the beach, plus plenty of books and movies to enjoy. Hunt for shells and make take-home crafts.
Your sleeping accomodations are comfortable and updated. The upstairs VIP Tranquiltiy Suite comes with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. This suite boasts a one of a kind beach and water view . The Tranquility Suite opens to two private decks where you can watch the sunrise over the sound, sit, and enjoy your morning coffee in the lounging Pollywood chairs. The rear deck provides for a view of the sunset over the harbor. Adjacent to the spacious master bedroom en-suite bath is a nursery/toddler room which is equipped with both a crib and a toddler bed (all linens for both supplied) including a baby bath and audio baby monitor.
Two more master suites with king beds and memory foam mattresses are on the first floor. They each offer en-suite baths, a pack & play, and have access to the spacious main living level decks. All 3 King suites all have sliding glass doors so you can step outside onto decking and get instant views and fresh air privately.
The Kids Crew Bunk room is equipped with 3 single beds and a moveable mattress with linens to add in a 4th guest. This room is sure to get the giggles going from the kid crew! There is a conversion kit that can turn two twins into a king for that specific room.
All rooms are furnished with premium linens and fresh absorbent towels. The three fully renovated bathrooms have complimentary soap, shampoo, and hair conditioner. Hair dryers are included in all bathrooms. Additionally, there is a half bath on the main level and an outdoor shower on the beach level.
The main level has a laundry room with a Samsung front load washer and dryer for your use. We provide complimentary laundry pods as well.
Lastly, we are committed to protecting your privacy and security. Outside of the home, we have security monitoring while still protecting your privacy inside the home. The device is located on the exterior of the home monitoring the exterior trash area, the front door, the supply room on the beach level and above the golf cart parking station as well as the entrances to the property. All data is deleted when not needed. These are only used for security purposes.
Inside the home is an Alexa Show device and a baby monitor. Both devices may be deactivated if not desired. The Alexa Show is located on the credenza at the rear of the dining area. The baby monitor is stored in a box in the baby room and is available but not plugged in.
At this time, we do not permit parties, events or weddings on the property so we ask that no unregistered guests stay or visit the property without prior approval.
