Positive: Having known St Mellion all of my life and visiting the leisure club as a child, St Mellion has a good reputation as one of the best leisure clubs in the area. The facilities are lovely, the pool is great. The breakfast is good. Staff dealt quickly when we had a flickering light. I have stayed a few times in the hotel the past couple years and beds are very comfortable. Hotel wise, the rooms are tired now and could do with updating. The reception area could also do with being bigger, updated and more welcoming to reflect the size of the resort/hotel. We like St Mellion and will stay again, thank you.
Negative: Hotel rooms are comfortable, but looking tired, bathrooms need updating and regrouting. (Also attention needs to be paid to cleaning in the bath/plugs).

Positive: We really appreciated having breakfast included—it was excellent. We also had dinner one evening, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight. The staff were wonderful, and the facilities provided everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend away. A special thanks goes to Mark, who was outstanding and kindly assisted us with a special request. Overall, we are very grateful for such a pleasant and memorable stay at this resort.

Positive: Really liked that as someone staying at the resort you get full access to the gym and wellness facilities. The rooms were big enough and bed was comfy. Was vert clean (credit to the cleaning staff) and the reception staff were great :) Great that there’s 3 bars/restaurants too. Only 5.50 a pint, thats amazing (please keep it this way). Not a far drive from Plymouth centre or Looe too.
Negative: To use the gym, you had to ask the receptionists to open the gates which got a little annoying if you forgot to ask as you had to go back upstairs and ask, however, really not a big deal at all so not a problem :)

Positive: Pools ‘two’ great for a relaxing swim, Bars ok for drink food ok for snacks and some to get on night after being out all day. .
Negative: Golfers getting loud on night time. Could not hear them in room so ok for sleeping. No breakfast in morning had bacon and egg rolls for brecky was ok.
