Summary: The place was compact but well laid out, very clean, and well-stocked. We found everything we needed easily and loved the ocean view. The beds were quite firm which made it a bit challenging for us to get a decent sleep, but otherwise we really liked it.

Summary: The Blue Heron cottage was one of the best stocked little cottages I've ever stayed at, incredibly well appointed with dishes, towels, extra blankets ect. I'm always disappointed by the lack of tools to cook in a place but not here! Plus a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. A perfect little getaway for my partner and I. Thank you so much for a great trip!

Summary: This property is well-cared for an put together by a considerate host. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything you need for a summer holiday. In particular, the kitchen was very well supplied with cooking utensils, cutlery, food basics, and dishes. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in front of the house looking down the hill to the ocean. We didn't use the fire pit but thought that it looked inviting on those evenings when you want to stretch out the day.

Summary: The cottage was perfect for our needs, very clean, well equipped for bedding, linens and kitchen. Beautiful location. I would consider staying there again, just perhaps not in hurricane season.

Summary: The first thing I said when my husband and I walked into this cottage was "this is so cute". We stayed here on our vacation to Nova Scotia and the night of my birthday. It was the perfect spot. Quiet and peaceful. I sat outside at the picnic table and enjoyed the views of the water. The cottage was well appointed, clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again when we come back to the area.

Summary: We all enjoyed our stay in the Blue Heron cottage. Everything we would need to cook, have fun was there. Had fun with the yard games left for our use. Even though the coastline was rocky it was a wonderful place to sit enjoy the site, we did find sea glass and amazing finds in the surrounding coastline shore. Gorgeous sunsets in the evening. Quiet surroundings was so relaxing. Thank you to the owners for making us feel so welcomed.
