This mid century modern Deck House features an open floor plan, soaring tongue & groove ceilings & hardwood floors. There are huge mahogany windows everywhere you turn, in fact, great walls of glass that naturally welcome the outdoors in. The view from each room is a masterpiece of nature. It's a great place for distance working with ample table space and laptop portable desks available.
Bring together friends and family over cocktails and watch the sun set, enjoying the expansive marsh & harbor views from the comfortable seating areas on the large deck or spacious living room. Gather around the firepit in the evening, relax and catch up with family & friends. Wake up to a chorus of birds, the smell of coffee brewing and the gentle breezes rippling across this stunning natural setting. Recent guests have raved about the amazing views and unforgettable sunsets.
Ride our bikes to beautiful Minot Beach, spread out a picnic and explore the tide pools. Launch our kayaks and paddle board, or bring your own and enjoy the waterways of this coastal paradise. Play Spike ball, kickball, corn hole & flashlight tag on the huge front & back yards. Treasure Island is a gated, tree lined street with resident access only. Guests will feel like they have escaped to their own private estate.
Stella Maris is the perfect place to relax, explore nature and spend time together. It is also close to quaint Scituate Harbor and surrounding seaside towns for shopping, meals & entertainment. The train to Boston is 5 minutes away.
While the floor plan of the house is perfect for sharing meals and time together, it also offers quiet nooks for solitude. The house accommodates 12 people comfortably. The newly remodeled kitchen is perfect for group cooking and socializing. The gas grill makes cookouts a breeze.
Stella Maris at Treasure Island has fast wifi, air conditioning, ample parking and large, flat screen smart TVs.
The entire house is available, including the storage shed in the back yard, where you will find bikes, a beach wagon, beach chairs, kayak paddles, paddle board paddle, life vests, Spike ball & corn hole. The kayaks & paddle board are available near the waterway access area.
In order for us to provide you with the best possible experience, please supply us with some information about your group and plans in Scituate when you make your reservation request.
We are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are also scheduling 24 hours between reservations for additional cleaning and ventilation. Owners may not be on the property during your stay, but will be readily available by text & email. The property may be under video surveillance.
Stella Maris is one of a trio of homes we have available at the Salt Marshes, Treasure Island. Stella Serena, across the street, is a 3/2 cottage that sleeps 6 and has incredible views of the marsh and harbor. Summary: The property and location were great as were the views from the house. Plenty of room and space for an unexpected group of 15 on One night. The access to the marsh seemed to be prohibited by red tape across the path to the waters edge and the outdoor chairs were not available for outdoor time by the fire. House overall was very nice and enhanced the trip!

Summary: My family stayed at Stella Maris in the days preceding my wedding. The property is beautiful and the home is warm and welcoming. The bridal party got ready in the home the day of the wedding and the lighting and spacious front rooms were perfect. Communication with the hosts was easy and the home had everything we could have asked for. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: Our daughters wedding was made even more special because of this beautiful property! We had all 4 of our adult children and their families along with my mother under one roof which was AMAZING! This property is exceptional. Gathering around the large kitchen island, watching the Celtics game outside projected on the garage, sitting on the beautiful deck and around the fire pit all made our time more memorable. The sunsets were so beautiful! We had other members rent one of the smaller houses on the property which was even more memorable as we blended two families on this wedding weekend. Thank you to Mary, and her family for allowing us to make your beautiful home part of the wedding! We WILL BE BACK!

Summary: The house and grounds were well maintained and lovely. The house had windows all around to capture the natural beauty of the Marsh and the surrounding area. The house had every possible amenity, nothing was forgotten. The kitchen was well equipped. On the negative side, I found the check-in and the check-out times were not easy to deal with, still I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering renting this house.

Summary: We gathered together as a family, 3 generations from 73 yrs to 1, and thoroughly enjoyed a celebration for my husband's 70th milestone bday at this wonderful rental over a three day holiday weekend. There was enough room for all to spread out, with an open kitchen which was very well equipped for everyone to use and the dining table was a wonderful gathering spot as was the sitting area in front of the fireplace. The home is as beautiful as depicted in the photos, with enough amenities and bedding for all. Due to the winter weather we did not partake of the outdoor activities but had an unusual event of winter flooding and snow squaws during our stay, which we all viewed with bated breath thru the large windows. Communication with Mary was always timely and thorough to rest our fears and she offered options for all our concerns. An item was left behind and Mary kindly offered a way for me to retrieve it a week later. We would definitely want to stay again and can only offer a huge thumbs up to anyone else even tho we'd love to keep it a secret! Our most appreciative ARIGATOU for helping to make my husband's bday so memorable!

Summary: We were a group of ten friends looking for a peaceful and gorgeous place to stay and this house exceeded our expectations in every way. From the initial email exchanges to the instructions provided just before our stay and the on-site binder, communication was spot on and incredibly professional. You can tell the owners care about this wonderful house and want to share this love with their guests. Every one of the six bedrooms was gorgeous with large windows and beautiful views. There was everything you could possibly need. From the quality of the furniture, the linens, the amount of towels, face towels, face cloths etc.. This is quite possibly the best rental house we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of glassware, dishware, silverware, pots and pans, spices etc. All appliances were top quality. In short, a perfect stay and exactly as advertised. An absolute worry-free and memorable stay at this wonderful place. Thank you!

Summary: My husband and I wanted to have a wedding weekend where our families could both come together and mingle before we got married on Sunday! These houses gave us exactly that! They thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The views are incredible and not to mention the amount of privacy these houses offer you. Summary: The area was very peaceful, the house was full of natural light and great common spaces to relax. Bathrooms were stocked with everything you needed, shampoo, soap, TP, etc. The kitchen was stocked with spices, paper towels, and waters. The house boats and bikes were great hit with the family. The owners were very kind and responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer.
