At Poplar Cottage, every aspect of your stay has been designed to encourage relaxation, recovery, and reconnection.
Throughout the home, you’ll feel inspired by furnishings from luxury brands such as West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Grandin Road, and Restoration Hardware. The fully equipped kitchen, with GE and Smeg appliances, allows you to create a home-cooked (or grilled!) meal to enjoy either at the large dining table or outdoor Polywood table. Grab a book from our shelf and cozy up by the fireplace, connect to the Sonos speakers and fill the house with music, or head up to the loft to game on the retro console. In the evening, gather around the fire pit to craft s'mores using the Solo Stove or warm up by the chiminea. When you're ready to relax, stream your favorite shows on one of the many smart TVs throughout the Cottage.
And when you are ready to venture out, we highly recommend a walk around the community lake or a quick drive to one of the many nearby Poconos attractions.

The maximum occupancy at all times is 8 people.
To enjoy the many amenities Brier Crest Woods has to offer, such as tennis courts, fishing (PA license required), a lake beach with a playground, and basketball and volleyball courts (and bathroom facilities!), you’ll notice a $60 fee upon registration. We will take care of the registration paperwork for you - all we need is a few questions answered 7 days prior to your arrival.
Guest bands for up to 8 guests will be provided and required for using the amenities (if you need more, they are $5 each - please note, children under 6 do not count towards the #).
Per community request, guests will be asked to provide a list of guests and their vehicle information prior to the start of their stay. The registration includes 4 vehicles and any more than 4 will require additional approval and are subject to an additional registration fee ($10 per car).
You must provide your ID to Airbnb to verify your identity. A valid email address and phone number must be provided before check-in.
No parties are allowed in the house. This is strictly enforced. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe the community's quiet hours of 10pm - 8am.
No smoking of any type is permitted inside the house or on the property. We reserve the right to keep the security deposit as an instant penalty if the house smells of smoke or contains smoking-related litter, including the outdoor property.
A signed rental agreement and security deposit hold on your credit card is required for booking.
We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25.
Although we love our furry friends, the Poplar Cottage is not suitable for pets. Failure to abide by this rule will entitle us to keep your entire security deposit.
For your safety and ours, security cameras are located on the exterior of the property (driveway and front door). We will respect your privacy upon your arrival!

Brier Crest Woods is a private secure community nestled in the heart of the Pocono mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania.

We are located near the famous Pocono Raceway, home to both NASCAR and the Indy racing circuits. Multiple ski areas, including Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort, are just minutes away, and it is only 25 minutes to the Camelback ski area and Camelbeach Waterpark. Great Wolf Lodge, Hickory Run State Park, Kalihari Waterpark, and Mount Airy Casino are also just a short drive away.
Getting Around
Poplar Cottage is steps from the private community lake with a beach, a playground, and basketball/volleyball/tennis courts. The private driveway can hold up to four vehicles. Bring your bikes to ride around the secluded roads of the neighborhood or enjoy a peaceful walk and soak in the fresh mountain air.
