Positive: The best hotel we have stayed in for along while . Although 3 star it could have easily been higher. The rooms were spotless. The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. We had several meals in the hotel including breakfast and all were excellent . Very relaxing stay. We will be visiting again .

Positive: A charming, beautifully presented hotel, especially with the gorgeous Christmas decorations. Our room was in the coach house on the ground floor, it was huge, super comfy bed, with a sofa , and stunning view across dales. The bathroom was also very spacious, everywhere was spotlessly clean. The dinner was delicious set in a gorgeous dining room with fairly lights, so pretty. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, our whole stay was outstanding, I can’t think of one negative point. Will definitely be back, we couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly, get value for money.

Positive: Beautifully converted country house hotel that is scrupulously maintained. Off season prices encouraged us to book a suite which was wonderfully comfortable. The staff are both friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner menu food was well prepared, although the menu a little limited. Would certainly stay again.

Positive: The staff were incredibly friendly, especially upon our late arrival after a long drive up. The place was very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was by far the best we've had at a hotel.

Positive: Consistently fantastic staff! They are totally focused on providing excellent customer care. It's evident at every level within the hotel and it's a remarkable achievement! Well done! The food was first class. Interesting and varied menus. Lovely dishes, beautifully presented with top ingredients. Warm and cosy, great lighting and lovely ambience. Fantastic experience!
