Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay at the Stone House Hotel, from checking in to checking out the entire staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were cooked to order which is so much better than having a buffet. The dinners were superb, each night it was difficult to choose. Special mention needs to go to the beef cheek and Yorkshire pudding as a starter. Nice walk into Hawes to visit the Wensleydale Creamery and Dales museum as well as some nice local shops. After walking back up the hill to the hotel then sitting in the garden with a drink and enjoying the views was just so relaxing.

Summary: Truly excellent experience. We thought the staff and the service was outstanding. Our room in the coach house was a little outdated, but the rest of the service, food, and hospitality more than made up for this. We'll definitely be staying here again in the future!

Summary: This was my third stay since my first visit in 2014 from Canada. Have never forgotten the beauty of the setting and cozy atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed our ground floor room with the conservatory which gives you direct access to the outdoors. The walk across the field to Hawes is always fun. Great staff, food delicious.
