Negative: Bed was very soft. Paid for a premium "water view room" but you could only really see the water if you stood in front of the window, so was not what I was expecting.

Positive: It’s located in a prime spot. Staff were very friendly but if you go into Strahan itself you get a lot more for your money than just hanging out in the village

Negative: It was good

Positive: The location was fantastic, great views of the harbour. Plenty of meal choices ranging from budget to more upmarket within an easy walk from accommodation. Comfortable bed and room was spotless clean. Easy free on-site parking.

Negative: The rooms decor is dated. If you have mobility issues the stairs could be a problem, also need to lug suitcases up the stairs.

Positive: The location and the room size, the restaurant food and the helpful staff. It was nice that our rooms were together as we needed two for our family.

Negative: Metered wifi isn’t great tbh. There was a midnight false alarm (fire?smoking? We don’t know) that woke everyone up and asked us to get out in the rain without much of information or explanation when resolved. We almost missed breakfast because everyone had broken sleep and the breakfast time should have been extended at least 30 minutes to 9.30am to make up for that as a reasonable service to guests after the midnight debacle.

Summary: Overall a good stay apart from the above, it’s a nice place in Strahan.
