2 Bedroom Apartment in Santa Maria Estate

Located on this high-end residential quiet neighbourhood, this apartment is gorgeously decorated.
It is an elevated first floor one bedroom private studio apartment, neighbouring a detached villa which is surrounded by lovely gardens and terraces. This apartment sleeps 3 persons and a baby/child if necessary. Two large 2m single beds that can be joinedas a king, A sofa-bed is in the living area. A baby travel cot with all bedding and a hi-chair are available free of charge.
This studio enjoys upgraded WIFI throughout, Download speeds up to 300mbps, Upload speeds up to 30mbps. A washing machine, 32" TV screen with DVD/your personal laptop HDMI connection. Aircondiitoning units in bedroom and living room, Full kitchenette with all appliances, Outdoor and indoor dining furniture, BBQ, Beach and bath towels, baby hi chair, cot and toys. Complimentary large bottle of water, fresh milk, tea. coffee and sugar for every new arriving guests.
Check in is from 2pm anyday of the week. You can enter with the code for the keybox. Code will be given prior to your arrival at destination. The apartment will be freshly washed and cleaned for your arrival.
If there is any particular request you wish to ask for. please just ask Charlene here and we will accommodate as best we can.
Located at the beginning of the street it is only 100 metres away from Welbee's Supermarket and both direction bus stops. It is walking distance, very conveniently close to all necessities. No rental car is necessary.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with a new water pressure pump, a wash hand basin and a WC. Hand soap, toilet paper are provided.
Kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, gas oven/grill, 3 gas stove burners, microwave, sink, electric kettle & toaster, coffee maker for 2, electric hand blender, automatic washing machine, clothes airer/drying lines and all necessary kitchen gadgets/ utensils.
The front sun terrace enjoys lovely sun every day all day and has a new table with chairs for al-fresco breakfast. lunch and dinner. The terrace also has a parasol and two relaxing deck chairs. An easy-use charcoal BBQ is at the side terrace if you would like to BBQ grill outdoors. (charcoal is not supplied) most shops 100 metres away sell small charcoal sacks.
The total building floor area is 42sqm. Laundry clothes lines and clothes drying racks are provided. Thick black out curtains throughout the apartment for those who wish to rest in a little longer.
Free street parking in front of apartment is always available in front of our very own unused garage gate. This parking space is only available to our direct guests.
Mellieha rocky / sandy beach is only 2 / 3km km away. Walking distance if you like walking.
Salt, pepper oil and vinegar are provided. Shopping bags are also provided for your use. Supermarkets will charge you for bags if you need any. So please use ours.
Airport transfers to and from the apartment can be managed by myself to make your holiday arrangements so much easier. We offer moderate rates on the local market. Should you wish to rent a car just advise me also and I will organise this for you.
We provide all bed linen, duvets, throws etc. Please just ask me if you require anything you do not find.

-Light switches for terrace and kitchen are behind the fridge.
-Bathroom water heater switch at bathroom door entrance on left.
-Cooker / oven is gas operated. Hold knob for few seconds after alighting the fire
as otherwise it will turn off automatically, as this is a safety feature.
-Separation trash cans are provided outside on the side terrace. Instructions of
scheduled waste refuse are also given.
Please. especially, take out any organic waste to be disposed of by our local
garbage trucks, responsibly. Just leave tied rubbish bags outside on the street-
tarmac in front of our garage gate. Garbage trucks collect garbage bags
according to schedule after 8am daily except Sundays and Public holidays.
-If using the BBQ please dispose the burnt charcoal in a provided black bag. Ensure
grill is cleaned.
For Bus transfer:-
The airport shuttle bus no. X1 transports you to the bus stop near the villa which is only 100mtrs away. The bus travel time is over 1 hour from airport. You need to stop off at Bus stop 3207 at Welbee's Supermarket.
Any damages are to be reported immediately to management.
The villa grounds are out of bounds for apartment guests and the apartment grounds are out of bounds for the villa guests.
Apartment grounds comprise of the access entrance staircase to apartment from main gate at street level, the apartment terrace stairs, a good sized apartment front-terrace and side-terrace and the apartments' indoors.
FURTHER INFORMATION
Mellieha enjoys it's 'VILLAGE FESTA' every 8th of September and it is highly recommended that if you have never experienced a Maltese Festa before, you should make sure you visit Mellieha village for their FESTA. As it will be a memorable experience. It is the feast of Our Lady of Victory.
Cirkewwa is not very far (about 15 minutes by bus), less by car. Cirkewwa is where there is the sea-port for the ferry which crosses over to Malta's sister island GOZO. Bus number 41/42 you to Cirkewwa or back to Mellieha. Bus no. 41/42 passes and stops at bus stop no. 3207 (near the apartment) and goes enroute from Valletta to (Cirkewwa) and vice versa. A bus ride from Mellieha to Valletta will take just over 45 minutes on a normal day.
Bus No. 42 passes from near the apartment en route from Valletta to Mellieha (Cirkewwa) and vice versa. (However this is the longer route as this bus passes also form Santa Venera and Hamrun (central Malta) on both it's ways which makes the journey longer). This journey on Bus 42 takes just over an hour and is not as frequent or as quick as bus 41 but it is also viable for the apartment if you need it.
Valletta is the capital city of Malta and is very historical and also commercial with it's cute outlet shops and boutiques. Valletta Waterfront is an historical gem where you can wine and dine overlooking the great grand harbor and it's high bastions.
Mdina is the ancient Maltese capital. It is known as the Silent City as only residents can use their vehicle here, so it is named 'the silent city'. It is very medieval and beholds tremendous amounts of character and history. You can also find some very cute, traditional, superb restaurants hidden away in the old and very narrow alley ways. A true delight for those seeking the unusual experience. A MUST go.
Bus no. 221/222 passes from near the apartment en route from Valletta to Sliema to Mellieha (Cirkewwa) and vice versa. This bus only passes hourly and it is a good bus to go to Sliema and return. It is advisable to check bus hours on website www.publictransport.com.mt. Sliema is a very commercial, lively and busy town by the sea. It has a very long promenade that stretches from Sliema to St. Julians alongside the sea where locals and foreigners alike enjoy a cool stroll and scoops of creamy ice cream during the long late summer evenings.
From Cirkewwa you can also find frequent boat rides to and from Comino island, which is Malta's smaller sister island. In Comino there is the renown Blue Lagoon, known for it's clear crystal sky blue waters and beautiful scenery. On the Sliema Strand one finds many boats/even old ships 'The Fernandes' that sails to Blue Lagoon for the day and night and comes complete with full packages for the day/evening including drink and buffet meals. A memorable experience.
Just off Mellieha Bay one can also find 'Popeye Village' film set which was the site where Robin Williams filmed his masterpiece 'Popeye' in his earlier years. If you have children travelling with you this is surely a must visit. Also enjoyed by adults who appreciate old film making and the scenery.

Summary: The wasn't a good description how to find the object. The image is a bit deceptive. Instead of two bedrooms as desired there is only one with a sofa in the kitchen. A little coffee maker would be a good addition. Otherwise it was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, there was a washing machine.

Summary: This cosy apartment is located in beautiful Mellieha, walking distance to the centre in a quiet street. We have created some beautiful family memories here. Summary: We had a great stay here. The host, Charlene, was always on hand for help and advice and was ultrafast in her response when we had a small problem. The location is perfect with a supermarket and shops, a petrol station and bus stops all just at the end of the road (100 metres away). Location is perfect with plenty of parking on the street (with no time restriction). There are direct links to the Gozo ferry via the 222 bus, and by car just a 10 minute drive away. All other buses head into Valletta, St Julians, Sliema etc. Again, a great stay, in a great location and the cherry on the cake was having a great host.

Summary: We really enjoyed our Stay at the apartment! The communication with Charlene was super easy and we had everything we needed! I really loved the apartment especially the area to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffe or glass of wine at sunset! The location is right at the bus stop and the supermarket and a restaurant! When you walk 5 min you have an option of more restaurants and bars and down to the water at Mellieha it takes you 2 min! I liked the area if is close to all the beaches! Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Summary: An absolute positive experience staying at this property. Extremely clean, perfect location to access stores, buses and a good sized veranda for sitting out on to enjoy the weather. Charlene was extremely helpful and responsive whenever we reached out for assistance. I will definitely return here on future trips to Malta.

Summary: We spent a wonderful seven-day vacation in Malta. The apartment in a villa is very cozy. It is located in a quiet area of ​​Mellieha, very close to the bus stops to reach the most beautiful beaches in the north and very close to the supermarket.It is equipped with everything necessary for the stay. A living room with a kitchenette and a comfortable sofa bed, a bedroom with two beds. Very confortable .We were 2 adults and a child ,we had a great time. communication with the owner Charlene was excellent, a very kind and welcoming person. Thank you so much Charlene !
