Positive: The house was very spacious and inviting.
Negative: I disliked that the beds were all full size beds. For the size of the home , it would have atleast queens. A lot of stuff we’re broken in the kitchen but still Functional nevertheless. . Some of the bedrooms don’t have locks but still no big deal.
Summary: I would definitely book again: big enough for a whole family and kitchen was perfect…

Positive: Great location (we walked to Universal Studiis) and great house with fantastic communal area and pool. Very clean and would have got 10/10 but…. See below
Negative: The 2 back doors did not lock!!! I had read reviews about this problem and contacted the host directly 2 months prior to arrival and they messaged that they now work! Which was not true as there is no lock fitted to either door! The other thing that happened was that I got a call the day before we were due to arrive saying they would do me a deal $650 US for 2 days pool heating rather than the usual $400 US per day!!! That’s just ridiculous! I obviously did not get the pool heated! Kids swam in pool anyway but a heated pool in December might have been nice. Also, the bathroom in the bedroom closest to the pool shower did not work very well.
Summary: Install 2 locks to the 2 back doors and the house would be a perfect LA holiday house for families or small groups!

Positive: The house was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Convenient location and close to Universal Studios. Plenty of rooms for the group size we had and easy access to the house. Quite a few places to eat in the area as well. I highly recommend Roadside Tacos!
Negative: There weren’t a lot of amenities. For example, no blow dryer. One of the beds had hair all over the sheets so I’m not sure it was thoroughly cleaned. The fire pit in the backyard would not light up, the propane tank was maybe empty. Also, there are no locks on the double doors leading to the backyard which made me anxious throughout the night.

Positive: Location is prime and does hold a ton of people. The kitchen is massive to fit everyone, and the host was responsive to my questions. The pizza shop and taco shop on the block are insanely amazing as well as the liquor store on the corner to get things we needed, like milk and water. The refrigerator is massive, and there is plenty of coffee with the keurig. The door is code locked, so no keys are needed, and the street is very quiet despite being on a busy road way. The first house was great for the teens to give them some freedom and was like a tiny apartment with everything in it, so rarely saw them come out, lol. We will for sure be back and l as it held everything we needed and felt safe with a large group and plenty of parking for our vehicles.
Negative: The downstairs bathroom shower was leaking like crazy and the hose and long pipe make it really hard to move and wash yourself. The sheets in most of the bedrooms were not very clean as we found hairs after removing the sheets before lying down night one. The kitchen sink had these little sugar ants coming out from a crack from the right of the sink, so I stuck a wet paper towel there to block them. The downstairs bedroom needs a blackout curtain as the sun beams right through the paper ones up now during the day and the night lights turn off very late causing the light in the room too and the door from the bedroom to the backyard does not latch or lock so you can just touch the door and it opens. Sofa in living room does not fold out as described as a sofa bed so be aware if trying to fit 2 people on it. Microwave has no plate in it either, but overall, easy fixes the host can make since this is still very new.
