This traditional Cornish cottage located in Crackington Haven has stunning sea and rural views. Suitable for short breaks with large discounts available for stays of 7 or more nights. Full of character dating from the 16th century. with an original slate floor copmplete with underfloor heating, beams and a wood burner. Dogs welcome provided they remain downstairs The cottage is open plan with a stylish kitchen, sitting and dining area. The kitchen has a dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave, Belfast style sink and fridge freezer. The sitting area has views to the front courtyard framed by sixteenth century barns and the rear patio doors leads on to a safe and secluded garden with views down to the sea from the terrace. Upstairs has two bedrooms. One double bedroom with twin beds in the second bedroom. The cottage is charming throughout, full of character and is well maintained and kept throughout the year. Lovely to stay in all year with each season offering something special. It is particularly cosy during the winter months. Off road parking seconds from the front door. A rural setting with walks through amazing countryside,cliffs hidden beaches and coastal paths from the front door. A useful location for exploring all of Cornwall and the South West. Well stocked community shop within a two minute walk. Children's playground 2 minutes walk away. Incredible local sandy beach with rockpools to explore around the fringes. Two cafes and a pub in the bay which overlook the sea. Surfing and surf hire available in the bay. Rarely will you experience such a night sky on clear nights!

Summary: Beautiful little cottage in a gorgeous location! Check in process is easy and great pre-arrival info from Tim the host. Small but perfectly formed, kitchen has everything you need. Only thing I would change is the dining chairs which do need an upgrade, but that is a minor criticism of a beautiful cottage - we had a great time as a family and would love to come back.Crackington Haven is such a gem - just off the beaten track enough to feel like a well kept secret, but close enough to Bude to mean that the amenities of a town are close by! Perfect location for exploring Cornwall, and the village shop, pub and two cafes in Crackington Haven mean that you don't have to venture far unless you want to. Just got home and wishing we were still there.

Summary: Cost cottage home out of the way of tourists with a lovely garden and comfortable bath upstairs to soak in. Great location for Tintagel and Boscastle. Host was generous with giving information and tips. Perfect for getting away from it all!

Summary: Just what we were looking for. Traditional cottage very well equipped. Rugged coastline with great variety of beaches and things to do. Summary: We had a comfortable stay in this atmospheric and lovely cottage. The heated floors were wonderful after some chilly sea swims and the back garden was a lovely place to sit. The exotic birds next door added to the atmosphere and were charming, never intrusive or up too early :) There's a great little shop 2 minutes' walk away with basics. The beach at Crackington Haven was just stunning and the Coombe Barton inn a great place to have a drink or dinner overlooking the water. There are lovely beaches all around the area within 10 minutes' drive, so the cottage is well situated. Very happy with our stay.
