I am renting out my charming apartment PRADO SANTA ANA in Madrid. This is a fully renovated and newly furnished airy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a brick townhouse. The master bedroom has it's own bath while the second bedroom on the other side of the living room has a bath adjacent. It's fully furnished with a high end kitchen and bathrooms, and a washer/drying in the unit (yay!). This is the hottest area of Madrid to live at the moment, the subway is just down the block. This fully furnished apartment features exposed brick and stone walls and high ceilings. The decor is sleek and modern while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming feeling.

“PRADO SANTA ANA” has 5 people capacity on a 3rd floor with small lift (up to 2 people). The gorgeous flat (70 square meters) is very bright where every room has a balcony. The apartment “PRADO SANTA ANA” is decorated in elegant colours to make the atmosphere more enjoyable. This apartment is exceptionally restful and functional with free wifi internet and air conditioning. The entrance hall leads into a living /dining area with TWO balconies facing out the street. It is furnished with on sofabed (up to 2 people), a wooden coffee table, a shelving with LCD TV and a wooden dining table. There are two bedrooms: 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.40m x 1.90m) and 1 single (2 single twin beds 0.90m x 1.90m). The living room has a sofa-bed up for 3 people. There are two bathrooms with walk-in shower. The kitchen modern and functional is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, 4-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing/drying machine. As small household-electric we can emphasize iron, cooker, water boiler, coffee machine, toaster, teapot, glasswork and set of dishes. PRADO SANTA ANA is placed in a classic building of the zone of Spanish Parliament, 5 minutes walking to Puerta del Sol and underground, in the centre of the Paseo del Arte. The "PRADO SANTA ANA" opens out onto the most exuberant city, contemporary theatre and art you can enjoy in the museums near the apartment: the Museo del Prado, the Museo Reina Sofía and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Located on the well known Santa Ana Square, this is the perfect place for those who are willing to stay in the middle of Madrid´s historic and tourist centre. Although the apartment is surrounded by the most centric Metro stations, getting on the metro can be avoided. Within only a few minutes walk you can reach the main Museums (Reina Sofía, Prado, Thyssen), the most visited and emblematic tourist sites such as the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real or the Gran Vía –something like Madrid´s Broadway where you can find lots of theatres and cinemas- and neighbourhoods such as La Latina, famous for their cultural and night life and for the most important outdoor flea market El Rastro.

Summary: This is the most charming apartment with balconies overlooking the old section near the Pratto museum. Restaurants close by, pharmacies, walking distance to everything you’d want to see. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and great attention to detail.

Summary: Great location with good choice of restaurants and bars nearby and walking distance to main attractions-museums , galleries and Retiro Park . Bright and modern third floor flat with lift. Corner position with balcony windows with dual aspect. Would definitely recommend. Helpful hosts made stay easy including taxi transfer.

Summary: Wonderful location. Walk to the museums, nice small grocery within 5 minutes, taxis and Ubers easy to find. 50 lovely and local restaurants/ coffee/ bars/ bistros within a 5 minute walk. And the small problems we did NOT have- adequate closets with plenty of hangers, nice washer/ dryer, AC worked fine, plenty of hot water, easy checkin, no problem leaving luggage for a few hours waiting for our train. There's definitely reasons this place in a 10.

Summary: Excellent stay: clean, great location to many sites/cafes/restaurants, easy walk to many parts of the city, great a/c in all rooms, helpful lift! The area felt very safe, the apartment is tastefully decorated and most of all very clean. There is great natural lighting in the bedrooms and living room. Also 3 small balcony spaces one can drink some coffee and read a book, or just relax. Some minor nice surprises as there was body soap and shampoo in each shower available. There was good closet/storage space in a small apartment. Beware the VRBO add said there were 2 full size futons but there is actually only 1. Finally, the check in was a little confusing as we were communicating separately with Carmen through VRBO, but we actually met Jose at the apartment. When we finally got to the apartment we were given the incorrect code, and we didn’t know how to get into the apartment. When Jose came down to meet us to let us in, I let him know we were given the wrong code - mostly so they know to give the correct code for the next visitor, he just shrugged his shoulders like it didn’t matter. On top of that he didn’t help my daughter out I with our two suitcases each and backpacks we were carrying. He just stood at the front door and watched us struggle to pull the luggage through the door, go up a small flight of stairs into a very tiny elevator (we had to go up one at a time with our bags), into the apt. I must say otherwise, Carmen & Jose were very nice!& communicative!

Summary: Very clean, perfect location for the Prado, amazing old property with high ceilings etc and beautiful windows and has been renovated and with high end appliances. Everything works great. The only negative is the living room furniture is average/poor, it is not comfortable to sit around and hang out together as a family of four. Super helpful hosts.

Summary: Great apartment which deserves a high rating, but we would recommend the following: 1. More instruction on how to open the front door, key was tricky, 2. Written instructions in English on how to use the washing machine and the stove, we are from the US, and we’re unfamiliar with the appliances 3. A few more towels and wash cloths Otherwise, just great!

Summary: This apartment was perfect for our group. My sister and I plus our husbands. The balconies were lovely, looking out on the street. Bathrooms were modern. Helena greeted us at the door to let us in and explain everything. She also gave us suggestions for things to do and restaurants to check out. Additionally, she arranged a taxi to and from the airport for us. Neighborhood was full of restaurants, shops and was easy walking from most sites. I would go back if we visit Madrid again.

Summary: Me and my family had a lovely stay at this property. It is perfectly located for your exploration of Madrid, really near museums, shops, and great bars and restaurants. Everything within walking distance. The apartment is well appointed and, outside of a few kitchen items that could be replaced due to wear and tear, everything was in perfect condition. We would definitely stay here again if they'll have us!

Summary: My sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was fantastic and everything in the apartment was comfortable (even the towels). It had everything we needed and it was obvious the owner cares about your stay. The cookware was nice (don't you hate when the pans are old and scratched?) and like things you have in your own home and not a rental. There are tons of restaurants near by, and almost everything else you want to see in Madrid is within walking distance. The owner is super kind and responsive. It was truly a great stay!
