The Space:
If you're looking for the perfect lake getaway, look no further! This brand new lake home has all the lake essentials. Lake access & views, with plenty of space inside and out for family, friends AND fur babies!
Inside the home you'll find 5 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, a game room with shuffleboard and other games. Outside there's a large wrap around deck with outdoor furniture, a fire pit, charcoal grill, hot tub and access to the lake.

**We cannot 100% guarantee the hot tub will be available on any specific dates. There can be unforeseen maintenance or damage from a previous guest that requires us to temporarily close the hot tub. The hot tub being closed will not result in a qualifying cancellation/refund.

The Neighborhood:
One of Kentucky's best fishing lakes, known for its distinct blue/green water, with a diverse and landscape surrounding it, Nolin Lake is a nature lover's dream.
There are numerous activities around the lake. Visitors have opportunities for boating, swimming, kayaking, hiking and fishing. The lake is also located very close to Mammoth Cave National Park which offers extra recreational opportunities.
Nolin lake is a great spot for outdoor recreation, with activities available for every kind of person.
Getting Around:
Free parking available, 4 wheel drive suggested for vehicles.
Other Things to Note:
* No dock access. Docks are private property and renters are not allowed on the dock per the Army Core of Engineers at Nolin Lake.
* Guests can enjoy the lake via the public access entrance on the left at the bottom of the trailhead or nearby Wax Marina.
* Firewood for the fire pit is the guests responsibility. Please do not use neighboring properties' firewood.
* Paddleboards, fishing poles & a pack n play are available for rent once you arrive at the property.
* Security cameras on the premises for the protection of our guests, neighbors and property.
* This is a brand new neighborhood and the lake path is still under construction. We suggest wearing tennis shoes or other shoes with good traction to make your walk easier.
*In the case of inclement weather, such as heavy snowfall, it is recommended to arrive in a vehicle with 4-wheel drive.

Summary: This house was just perfect for a ladies weekend! Fully stocked (loved the market what a great idea). It was laid out great so everyone was comfortable and there was still room to be with each other. The games were a huge hit!

Summary: We had the best time at this cabin and are already talking about going back next year! We had six adults and two toddlers. The number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and game room were perfect for our group. We utilized everything this property had to offer, including the fire pit, hot tub, well stocked kitchen, and incredible fenced in wraparound porch. The property was very kid friendly with books and games. We had so much fun playing outside! We enjoyed the gorgeous views of the Fall leaves and lake. There’s not much in the area, but we went to Mammoth Cave one day and a couple of distilleries on the bourbon Trail one day. No complaints!

Summary: The house was nice, and was a perfect place to have my bachelor party. We had a blast! Just make sure you follow their driving directions and ignore your GPS. Also make sure you have the gate code (different from the house code). I think it may have been in the driving/check in instructions but I never found it. If I get a chance I’d stay here again for sure!

Summary: This was probably the most well thought out VRBO I've ever stayed at. They thought of EVERYTHING! Super easy to purchase items stored on the property (market, firewood) via venmo payments. Our family of 6 adults and five kids ranging from 4m to 8yrs had more than enough room and spaces to be together or find a few minutes for yourself. The firepit was our favorite place in the evenings. A bit of a treacherous path down to the lake and not much shore space once you got there. The state park, while only 3.5 miles away was about a 30 min drive. Our ONLY negative was that the check in instructions were missing one gate code and it took about an hour for the VRBO host to respond with that information. Other than that the weekend and property exceeded our expectations and the kids have already asked to come back to the same place next year.
