Summary: I originally booked our last night in this apartment for proximity to the airport. As we drove into this lovely little town of Culross, we were instantly enamored with the quaint, old world charm and beauty! When we arrived at the Culross house, our excitement grew in anticipation of staying in such a beautiful old building that obviously used to be a Church. Julie did an amazing job, giving us every detail that we needed to feel right at home. As we entered the apartment, we felt like little kids discovering every tiny aspect of this beautiful place. The attention to detail, the myriad of amenities to make our stay comfortable and special are too many to mention! From the personalized welcome sign, the Wi-Fi password, the basket of goodies, chocolates on the pillow, to a fur covered water bottle for the bed if it gets too cold, so many surprising little details. Even the glassware and silverware were elegant. It felt like we stayed in a very high end designer home, just so comfortable and lovely! We wish we had spent our entire vacation here instead of Glencoe and Skye! We will be back to explore more and will definitely stay here! Can’t recommend this place enough! It will grab your heart and won’t let go!

Summary: We only stayed one night but wish we had been able to stay longer. It was the perfect way to end our Scotland trip, and the owner was wonderful. Even made dinner reservations for us when I couldn’t get my phone to work.

Summary: Excellent location. Beautiful apartment. Amazing host. Perfect location for exploring Fife. The history of Culross. The coast, proximity to the Highlands and the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Highly recommend this location.

Summary: We needed a place to stay to bring us closer to Edinburgh for an afternoon train after spending a week in Ayr. Edinburgh was looking pretty pricey so we opted to find something out of town to save some money. This space did not disappoint! Lots of kitchen utensils and staples, a lovely welcome basket and great amenities in the bathroom. Our one night stay in Culross had more supplies than our house in Ayr!! Fabulous host. Recommended dinner at the red Lion and they had a great menu with a fantastic kids menu as well as selection for mom and dad. Nice visit at the nearby castle for a fancy coffee after check out. Highly recommend!
